Having read and seen the video of the x2 RDM's duoing this BC have been looking for ways on how to do this w/o having to use 2hrs by adding a few more people. I think i have come up with something though. If there is a viable strategy out there i would love to hear it too. i did a search but nothing came up that was an explanation of how.

My idea:
RDM/NIN x2
BLM/RDM x4

All well geared.

Strategy would be like this:
RDM kites Behe up the hill. forces meteor. x2 BLM cast T4-3 spell. other RDM spams hate on behe and runs ~2-3 seconds b4 meteor casting ends and BLMs run with. RMD forces meteor BLMs hit hard and run up the hill. rinse and repeat until he is dead. We could rotate BLMs with resting to not run into MP issues. Fewer people would cause some problems but knowing hate 100% of the time would make meteor a LOT easier to deal with.

Any tips or strategys would be GREATLY appreciated. Goal is to do this in as few people as possible reliably without 2hrs. could possibly add 1-2 more BLMs w/ some sort of refresh.

Edit: We are going to attempt a few runs in a week or two. will post results.

keep dots on. dots will seriously help speed up this fight burn shock choke poison2/bio2(3). If one of the blm can come sch and stick helix on it that makes the fight even easier. The blms dont need gaiters, but they do need to not be stupid and know when its not casting meteor on them. Bouncing hate is extremely important as well.

Did it with 4 rdms, no chainspells. Keep DOT'd. If you arent the one kiting, you should be nuking balls or resting. Helps if all your rdm are decently geared >_>

Just to let more people know. i can safely say that this can be low manned easy. We started with 12 people (~9 well geared and then a few people that had BLM 70+). our best time was 15:01 with 8. we also think it would be easily doable with 6 and possibly even less. 5 orbs no losses and very few deaths and no 2 hours even on our best time.

Pro tip: If it is bound do not go within melee range. it will hit then it can cast meteor and in my case killed 2 people with nothing we could do about it.

My LS has done it with 5, think it was 2BLM SCH RDM BRD. Not sure on the clear time offhand, I think they finished around 17-18 minutes in.

The blms just need to know how to tigger meteor and when to nuke(i.e not when its RIGHT fucking next to them)
