limewire is pretty much spyware, and you're lucky, even if you're careful, if you don't get any viruses using it. soulseek is a much better p2p filesharing application, specifically for music. torrents are still the way to go though.

Have invites to what, but they're specialllllll. I don't get to use it much anymore...I'm at school and running comcast, which blocks torrents entirely now. Makes me sad. I use newsgroups now until I find a solution. ANYONE HALP? I thought the FCC kicked their ass for blocking torrents.

I have comcast too and torrent's running fine for me. What seems to be the problem?

I use firefox's download helper and grab songs off myspeace and various other streaming websites that I google.

Oh, I have invites to funfile.org to trade. Amazing site to download movies. I usually cap my bandwidth on downloads.

edit: Yeah, downloading that Repo opera movie right now at 1.1mbps.
