When DragonQuest 8 came with the FF12 demo it was great but when the actual game came out there were some differences in the actual product and the demo I assume this will happen to 13 also.

Well most demos give you a lot more than what you actually should have at that point in the real game. Apart from that, I don't think much else changes, at least that I'm aware of. And I mean core mechanics/gameplay stuff, not stupid cosmetic changes).

Yeah, but I'm thinking if we play through that area in the Demo, that's the starter zone and what not. Those are typically easier zones, so of course battles would look retardedly easy. I'm sure it's not gonna be "spam default attack all day" sort of things with it in that game like it could have been in FFXII.

Hell if I know, the last page is pretty confusing considering what was available. Right now (and for a long time) I found FFXIII to be more interesting that Versus XIII. Apart from the cool music, the promise that it might be kinda like KH2 and flashy visuals, Versus XIII hasn't done anything.

I think Versus *looks* cooler, from the setting/characters/cutscenes. To me, it has a much more VII look about it. Not quite old times, but using swords... and not quite future but having cool vehicles and such. But, more importantly than all that, PS3 exclusive, opens a lot of doors; I think so anyways.

I completely expect the gameplay in Versus to be a Kingdom Hearts clone, but damnit if I didn't find the first trailer of it awesome, with the opera music and the main character going ape-shit.

At least Square isn't wasting any time milking this round of games.
