"International" versions of Square games have always been "Japan-onry". Plus, even if one does come out, and even if it does feature JP dubs with english subs (which I don't remember any of them having, they had english dubs included in JP Int. versions but never english subs, right?) , the menus and all non-voiced text will still be in japanese.

Oh well, SE never gives their consumers what they want so not like this is any different than usual.

International versions have always just been the NA game in JP.

JP Release -> NA Release (JP Edition + Additional changes (IE Weapons in VII)) -> International Release (NA Release in JP)

Heck, most International Releases just keep the NA voices if there are any, it's unusual for an international version to be different from the NA version minus a minor tweaks.

Take the Dissidia International Version for example, it'll be the same exact game that NA are using, just playable on JP systems. It's even keeping the english VAs and adding JP subs. Though there are rumors DLC might be available for it.

Not necessarily true, both FFX and FFXII international were significantly different from their american counterparts.

FFX International was the EU version rereleased in Japan. XII was entirely new though.

My optimistic reasoning, they don't want to compete with themselves for the same dollar. XIII & XIV are there flagship titles for next year and they don't want to distract anyone from the hype for those two games so all of there focus will be on them. Once XIII releases here we will hopefully start getting a lot more info on Vs.

I honestly don't even think it exists at this point. Haven't we only got a single trailer for that and Agito? I really think SE needs to stop announcing so many titles at once, and then only work on one or two at a time (this is just what it feels like to me, probably not completely true).

Agito at least had a new trailer showing gameplay within the last 3 months or so. Versus has had zero news, not even gameplay. I tend to agree with that ArchDizzle said though.
