I think amazon is doing a $10 game credit with preorder and I bet Toysrus will offer some kind of giftcard when it releases.
New gameinformer came in today and they gave it a 9.25.
If I was to buy a console for ff13, which would you recommend and why?
Well the PS3 "for" are:
- 1 BluRay disc instead of @3DVD - if you care
- Better quality of video and audio
Get a ps3 and get WKC to play now until 13.
Pic spoilered for hugeness (not actually a spoiler)
Spoiler: show
take it for what you will, the description says the console and controllers are black (when the xbox and controllers in the pic are white lol), and the ff13 box has "Only on Xbox 360 on it"
so, possibly a fake. if anything it will be announced at X10 event
That's not a very good deal even if it's real...
It's not that bad I guess, twice the memory of an elite, game and extra controller for 100 bucks. Kinda odd bundling a console with two controllers, with a single player game.
Wow, FF13 is get hammered on the reviews. That sucks.

Heres another one.
Sooooo who else is putting their lives on hold when this game comes out? Its been a loooong time coming.
Probably not, as soon as I heard it had no towns in it, my enthusiasm for this game dropped off quite a bit. I'll still play it, but one of the things I loved about previous FF's were the towns and the atmosphere they created.
Comes out right around spring break for me :D
Once I got White Knight Chronicles, I was much happier about the lack of towns in the game. I think I've gotten past the phase in my gaming where I loved running around talking to NPCs in my RPG. I just don't enjoy running around in a town doing jack shit for however long anymore.
I don't think I've ever liked being in towns specifically because it was a town. I usually just looked for the item/weapon/magic sellers, did whatever side quests could be done and went on with the story.
Though, I did talk to everyone when I played Lost Odyssey, but only because I wanted to find more dreams.
