A CAMPAIGN to rename fish as "sea kittens" in order to improve their image has been ridiculed by the Federal Opposition.

Outspoken animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is using the "sea kitten" name as part of its push to restrict fishing.

"Nobody would hurt a sea kitten!" the group says on its website.

But if, somehow, they got the international board of science or whoever it is that decides what things are called to rename fish as sea kittens, I would go along with it, just 'cause.

Are there two groups of PETA? I've seen rational-minded, vegetarians that use passive protest and were into helping animals hurt by environmental disasters and lack most common forms of attention-whoreism. But then there's stuff in the media where you get those aging hippy douchebags that hand out buckets of blood in front of a KFC, appear on Howard Stern performing random sex acts to stop stuttering John from killing a cockroach, and throw powder on people wearing fur coats. (used to be paint until someone got sued, killed..ect) Are they all part of PETA?

There is only one PETA, but it's always been a two-faced organization. For example they gleefully pull donations from pet lovers everywhere while working towards a world where human ownership of animals is basically outlawed.

I remember when I lived in Virginia a few years back they were outside of an Elementary School handing out Happy Meal boxes to little kids with Ronald McDonald holding a bloody butcher knife slicing a cow's throat. There was also dismembered chickens and stuff on the box too. Those fuckers are nuts.
