    Windows Server 2008: Anti-Virus?

Hey, folks. After a while of considering it, I finally made the plunge into Windows Server 2008, and have configured it workstation-style (which there's info about on these two sites: The Way I See It : Using Windows Server 2008 as a SUPER workstation OS, Convert your Windows Server 2008 to a Workstation!).

Currently, I'm cruising without an anti-virus. Don't know what to use. Most free stuff I'd usually turn to doesn't work, like Avast!. Looks like I'm going to have to buy something, so I'm wondering what anyone else is using.

I've used Eset Nod32 on it with only a little trouble, had to use 2.7 instead of 3.0, but I like 2.7 better than 3.0 anyway, heh. I'd still use it, but I can't seem to get any Bluray players to work on it So it's back to Vista 64.

Just regular, not business edition or anything like that?

Just the regular one, not the business. I believe the 3.0 edition says you need the business version to install since it's a server os, but I didn't have any trouble installing 2.7 on 2008. I believe there is a trial version you can download just to make sure though.

We currently are using Symantec Anti-Virus 11.0 Corporate EndPoint Protection on all of our 2008 server installations. It works without a problem on 64 and 32 bit platforms.
