Just installed FFXI on vista laptop

When I try to run the FFXI config, it pops up an error saying FFXI Config has stopped working. I installed everything but forgot to install the vista POL until after I installed everything else, but I uninstalled the XP POL and reinstalled the right one. Am I gonna have to uninstall everything and reinstall again? Cause that's a pain in the ass, but i'd rather do it before I update everything just to remove it all.

You've probably got incorrect registry settings, yeah. I'd start over personally.
