Feeler Antlion: Regain/Retain TP? Hate Decay?

As the title says, my question refers to the Feeler Antlion, used to pop Alastor Antlion (Rostrum Pumps). My linkshell did a few runs of this guy today and I have some weird experiences that I couldn't understand.

As the title says, there were some weird occurrences with his TP. I tank/hold the feeler as NIN/WAR with an Evasion setup. Hit him until he TP's, then turn around so as to not feed him more TP so that we aren't flooded with Executioners. However, on more than one occasion there were times when the Feeler would use another TP move a few seconds later, even without being hit or hitting me. This has led me to the conclusion that either A) He has a small regain, or B) When he uses TP moves, he retains/stores/doesnt use some of that TP allowing him to reach 100% again relatively quickly, or even already be at that point to begin with. Does anyone have an evidence or studies of what this exactly is however?

Also, I've noticed on several occasions that the Feeler will randomly turn around and head to a random person in the alliance and start hitting them, even if they have done noething to get on the hate list. This appears to me to be some sort of hate decay, though on what degree I'm not sure. As I said, I hold it as NIN/WAR and provoke every thirty seconds and go through the enfeebling wheel a few times. As with the above, does anyone have any ideas or studies on what this is?

I think he has some pretty strong regain, but have never experienced any form of hate decay on him.
