Lost: Season 5

We are less then 10 days from the premier. How many Lost fans do we have here? How many of you want to bang Kate? How many of you want to bang Locke?

Where I live Lost has been playing on four different stations for three hours on each station over the past two weeks. So I have been getting more and more hyped. Cannot wait to get Lost in the next season.

Rousseau's flashback is like episode 4-5 and I think they'll be explaining some more Other backstory early on too

Lost is the best show on TV, and no one is allowed to have a different opinion.

I can't wait for this show to start. There was so many cliffhanger at the end of last season it was almost painful to wait.

My wife and I watched from Season 1 forward, since they've been showing them on SciFi and G4, and I didn't realize how many questions still haven't been answered.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to this season, and I'm glad that they seem to have a plan for the rest of the show. (And aren't just winging and trying to drag it out as long as they can)

Can't freakin' wait... I've also been watching the reruns on G4 / SciFi and been getting pumped.

I got my wife into Lost while Season 3 was on TV. So we bought Seasons 1 and 2 and I rewatched them with her but it kind of took some of the excitement away. "Who are these Boone and Shannon people? They're not gonna last long...." And the whole getting into the hatch story arc wasn't quite as exciting since she knew who was inside already.

yea i just started watching lost as well. i watched season 1 - 4 online at abc.com and finished them to soon so now i have to actually wait to see what happens haha

I'm glad I was to busy to watch Lost when it was on T.V before. I watched season 1-4 online as well and it made it just that much better cause I didn't have to wait a week in between. Whenever I had some free time I'd make a day out of it and do a Lost Marathon.

They won't answer questions until the very end. Everything in the show revolve around the mystery of the island, and it's obvious they won't tell us what it truly is until the end. Once they answer this, every other important questions will be answered indirectly.



I'm glad to see more people are picking up Lost. Kinda hope the rating will go up, even if it probably doesn't matter much at this point

My wife and I are almost finished season 2. We've got season 3 downloaded. Trying to catch up so we can get into season 5 by about the half way point. Such a good show. We haven't been this addicted to a show since we got the Wire.

This has also been the first show where Ive avoided all chances for spoilers. The twists really are what make this show so good. Well that and the surprisingly good characters.

There are so many questions to be answered that it's silly. Maybe that's partly why I love the show. The biggest questions in my mind are:

-The origin/significance of the island.
-Why does the island defy time & physics?
-What is the origin of the Others and what is their goal?
-WHAT IS THE SMOKE MONSTER???

There are alot more questions of course but I can't wait to see these revealed.

I enjoy the occasional flashforward/backward scenes but I'm glad they are gonna try and stop using them as much as they did in the 4th season. Nearly half the season didn't even take place in normal time. The only time I really enjoyed it was Desmond's episode after they landed on the boat.

The main character I have been interested in seems to be the main character nobody else gives a damn about. And that is the "Other" dude that helped Ben when he was a little kid. He is also the same dude that went and saw Locke as a little kid. The guy has to be over 100 years old and seems to be the leader of the others but for some reason let Ben take over. I'd really like to know more of his background.

Really looking forward to 17 straight episodes without a break.

Richard Alpert is one of my favorite recurring characters on the show. Just the fact that he was around in the 50's, and he was seemingly the same age he is today is one of the biggest mysteries. On the official Lost Podcasts, Lindeloff and Cuse have said they will answer most questions, but it's not likely until the end of the 5th season going into the 6th.

Also, I'd take Juliet over Kate any day. Sure Kate is hot, but she is annoying as fuck. Gimme the smart blond.

Richard Alpert and Christian Shephard are the 2 characters I'm interested in most since they are the agents of Jacob(whoever he is...) that seem to be influencing anyone and everyone at some point in their lives.
