she said she grew up on the island, and when the dharma initiative came she moved away with her mother. she never saw her dad again after that. and when she was little, before she left the island, she said there was some crazy man who told her never, ever to come back to the island. and if she came back to the island, she'd die. she said she thinks that man was daniel farraday.
