The closer we get to the end, the more I am getting scared because quality television like this may be a thing of the past and there'll be nothing that quite compares to it

Many other people have noticed it as well. I was thinking at first that Locke would become a ghost like Jack's dad, but the more I think about this theory the more it makes me question random things that I didn't put much thought into before. Such as, why was he in the Cabin and Jacob was "gone". What was he doing, out renting a video? My theory is goes back to the mention of "two large forces going at it" that the writers spoke of. At the time people (me included thought of it as Ben Vs Widmore) but what if it is Jacob vs something else. Thus, why Jacob wasn't there and Jacob's foe was using that to his advantage to manipulate Locke. Of course, this is Lost and for years is full of wild theories that fans never get right.

Also, about her and Jin. They knew each other for like 3 hours max and she met him in passing 16 years later. I don't remember faces of people I met last week for 3 hours. She had gone through a lot of things in that time, killing her friends and husband, having a kid, having kid taken from her, being hunted and so on.

Or of course, there is the "Lost" theory on time travel that the future doesn't change until you go back into the past and change it. IE Desmond not remembering an event in the past until it happened and he magically remembered the event. Thus she wouldn't have remembered Jin until Jin actually met her in the past. Unfortunately she was already dead so it didn't matter.

Seems very likely to me, I wasn't watching the husbands eyes during the scene with Danielle but it seems likely enough. Also, Eloise has really dark eyes, when I first saw her in this season I was surprised at how her eyes looked almost entirely black but this may just be her natural eye color? I have no idea what it would mean, her being a manifestation of the monster doesn't seem as likely as Shepard.

eyes'b'normal, I threw the episode through premiere to disect, and only had to go through Danielle's husband to see the theory was based on a false memory of the episode.

Two different parts where his eye could turn black, and they didn't as he was talking to her, nor as he cocked the gun, nor as he aimed to shoot her, nor anywhere at all unless it was a split second that I couldn't get from going frame by frame on the non HD form of the episode.

What I'm wondering is if after Locke left, did the people on the island jump 3 years forward to meet up in time with the Oceanic 6? Or have they been sittin around gettin bloody noses for 3 years hah. God I hope they have great explinations for all this...time travel in serious shows is usually crappy.

They made it clear that time is relative when you're on the island. Remember the package faraday's asked last season.

Most of it has been/will be explained. That's pretty much the entire purpose of Daniel Faraday.

To be honest I don't think they've made anything exactly clear. Time was slightly off when the mentioned the package...but not 3 years off. I'm sure they will explain it somehow with the time skips, but as of now I can't even guess.

What I'm curious to see is when Locke will be brought outside. Was it a few days after Ben, or a few years later.


One thing that is bothering me with this is everyone on the island that's isnt a part of the main crew. Are they getting warped around as well, or only the main cast went through this ordeal?

I think it would be interesting if Locke is brought back at exactly the moment in history when he stops the island's time travel (ex. stops it in Rousseau's crash and he ends up in 1988, but I honestly just want to wait and see what happens.

Based on what we've seen with their interactions with the people on the island, I think the only people who keep getting warped around are the survivors of 815 + the science team for whatever reason.

And yeah I noticed that weird look on Ben's face, I thought the way he immediately does an about face after was him going to confront her about it, but I definitely think her being Faraday's mother was something Ben did not know about.

Noticed the bit about Faraday's mother also. It did seem that only 815 survivors and the most recent people are warping, which I wonder how they will explain that. Though they could just chalk it up to Jacob or whatever.

Thought some more about the Christian/Smoke monster thing. Unless it has gone rogue, why would it contradict Ben or go against him? He did call it last season after Keamy killed Alex and didn't seem to bother him while he was saying goodbye when all he had was a rifle. I guess there is the possibility it would rather have Charles in charge again or whatever it was that happened in the past. They still have to explain how he got from being a low-level guy (at least it looked like) to apparently running things, as he said it. For that matter, when was Ben supposed to have 'stolen' the island from him? Maybe he got tired of Richard and the others listening to a little kid instead of him and that's why he left.

It seemed as if they are just to stupid to pay attention to Lost. Said to many things were going on at once... The reviewers on IGN constantly make me facepalm when I read their shit.
