You can't possibly hate the last episodes if you watched the first 4 seasons, unless you really want to hate he show.

I can't really remember a bad episode ever sincethe Niki/Paolo one.

I don't care how many things are going on at once since its all interesting and makes me want more.

A little bit off topic but I like how they play the previous episode before each new episode. Ya I've already watched it online once or twice since it aired but I enjoy how they put little comments on the screen to add history/context to the scene.

It's especially helpful for newcomers, i think, and for people that started watching only the aired television episodes since day one and haven't gotten the DVDs. That's 5 years ago, too much information to remember!

Niki/Paulo was a great episode, helped show how people who are not in the main crew have gotten along on the island for those ~108 days (less at the time). One thing that confuzzles me though is wasn't Hugo's dad watching a new episode of their tv show in The Lie?

And I agree that paolo/nikki episode was awesome. It was a bad idea to bring them in the crew, but I loved how they got ride of them.

Btw, is there any useless people left? We lost at least 3 last seasons, 2 more to arrow just now.

Idk I guess I just assumed its a new episode cause idk 3+ years seems too long to be watching reruns. I think the 1950s others were supposed to have killed most/all of the remaining survivors off, I could see maybe Rose/Bernard as the only other survivors, I'd be very upset if they killed them off.

The three side characters that need to survive this all is Rose, Bernard, and Vincent. Mostly Vincent...If Rose and Bernard don't surivive, they should be Adam and Eve...

I think the "Adam and Eve" bodies will turn out to be Sun and Jin.

I recently rewatched the entire series and the only thing I'm basing that guess on is that the bodies first showed up in a Sun-centric episode. Just seems like the kind of thing Lost would do.

I think considering the theme of reuniting kids and their parents, Rose/Bernard would be better adam and eve then sun and jin since Ji Yeon is still in Korea.

Sorry for my lack of usual Lost thread contributions but just been damn busy with RL. :/

Well anyway this season so far is pretty damn crazy, I am not too sure if it's a good or bad but I am leaning on good so far. The pacing has been pretty fast, I thought John would barely be back by the end of the season so thank god for that.

Christian Shephard's appearance on the last episode was crazy. I KNEW Locke had done something wrong. Something didn't seem right when he told John specifically to move the island himself. It seems Christian (or whichever entity he is now) had another agenda.

Locke still did something wrong...Christian told him to push the wheel and he pulled it. Locke never fucking listens.

I still say Christian is fucking evil and manipulating Locke. Mostly because the only scene we see Jacob in we hear him plea to Locke, "Help Me" and then we never see him again. Instead Christian is in the cabin and says Jacob is "Out".

Yeah I think Christian has some pretty bad intentions too. That little mobisode scene they showed where he gets up to tell Vincent to go and wake Jack up to let it all begin, was very suspicious. I think there is a lot more to him then they are giving away.

Is that a lot of peoples reaction towards Christian? Oh and I didn't even noticed he pulled the wheel. LOL

I've been talking about Christian being bad for a while and nobody seems to agree with me. Also, you have to consider all the time they spent on the subject that Claire needed to raise her baby and that nobody else was supposed to. Then he appears and talks her into giving the baby away. It seems like his plans are to just sabotage. There were many other small things about him that I can't think of at the moment. But everything he has done just seems to add up to him ruining things.

I also had thoughts of him being the Smoke monster when he wouldn't help Locke up (most likely because he can't). Somewhat like when the Smoke monster made himself look like Mr. Echo's brother or Walt and so on. But meh, even if he is not all in all he just can't be good.

I want to believe that too but with the lack of scenes they have of him this season I figured there would have been much more involving him and Jack. I really want to hear what Jack has to say about it but it never really comes up. I am guessing there is going to be a pretty ugly confrontation when they get back to the island. I wish that Locke could have just told Ben that the person in the cabin WASN'T Jacob, I am pretty sure Ben would have knew something was up but then again we probably wouldn't have the plot we do today.

That's an interesting point of view and I can see why you see it that way. I think there is also a theme of parents abandoning their children too. Maybe not abandoned, but losing contact with.

Locke, Sawyer, Kate, Claire, Aaron, Danielle all lost contact with their parent/offspring.

Come to think of it, the whole parent child dynamic seems to play a large part of the Lost storyline. How many of the main characters have we not met at least one of their parents?

When Locke met Jacob in the cabin with Ben, wasn't it Christian who flashed then? As well as when Hugo finds the cabin? Christian could certainly be evil since he seemed to have pushed so many of them towards the island in Sydney but in the same way Ben is morally grey I have a feeling Christian/Jacob will be too just in opposition to Ben at this point.

On the subject of the pushing/pulling the wheel, thats certainly interesting, especially if it has any relation to where in time the island moves.. i.e. Christian said the wheel was off its axis and so was the island, and Locke pulls it back and they go back in time?

We've met the parents of every one of the oceanic survivors pretty much (exceptions Libby, Michael(not sure if he should count though cause of Walt), Eko, Sayid). The father/son and mother/daughter dynamic is one of their most used themes plotwise outside of focusing on eyes, Wizard of Oz references or shit happening to Locke's legs.
