That isn't me reading into anything. That is a quote from somebody elses theory as I said on the bottom.

How have I been 'keeping bringing it up' when I mentioned it twice, once while quoting somebody else? I was saying it was funny, I wasn't bringing it up as if it was a plot device.

You know, the whole topic about me mentioning it got blown out of proportion because somebody misquoted me and people want to keep bringing it up despite the fact I keep saying that.. But I keep saying he is addicted to 'heroin' because oxy is...synthetic 'heroin'.
My entire point of it in the first place was just two simple things...that Charlie was addicted to it when they crashed. ( They had to imitate the first crash, thus he was addicted like Charlie) and that I just wasn't a fan of how he acted.
I was wanting to bring up the way he was like Charlie in the first crash, because somebody has to be like Claire...pregnant. And Jack and Kate had sex the night before. Thus, that is the best chance for Kate to have a baby on the island. Is their baby Jacob? Most likely not because Aaron is the decedent of Jacob, not the other way around.

But anyways, you guys act like I don't know anything about the pills, I knew more about it more then any own damn doctor, which is what fucked me up cause my doctor was a dumb ass. I've studied extensively all opiates.(I in fact have papers on it) And it's not like I wasn't busy when I was taking it, I was busy running a business, dealing with a pregnant, suicidal girlfriend, all the while becoming homeless. Which doesn't leave much time laying around, jacking off.

Grr, but that isn't even the point, people keeping bringing it up off topic which keeps making me ramble and its driving me nuts. But its ok, is to be expected because this is a Lost topic and every little thing is discussed.

When or where do you suspect the plane to have crashed? Or do you think it crashed at al? In the previews it shows Locke talking to one of the women from the plane but I don't think that would be in the time frame that Jack and the others are.
My guess is the oceanic six got thrown back into the 1970s to be with the rest of their group and the Dharma. But the rest of the plane crashed in 2007. The main reason I still suspect it crashed was because in the past episodes they found wreckage and a water bottle from the airline.

I just got to sit down and watch my own personal Lost marathon of the first few seasons. God I love Locke. Was great to rewatch when he was 'mysterious'. This week will be the greatest moment in television history.

Can't wait to learn more about Widmore + Abbadon. We already know that Abbadon works for Widmore but I hope there is more to his character. His past has always been shrouded in mystery, so I hope they give more info and he has his own personal set of goals aside from the others.

There was an interview with him and supposedly we'll find out alot mroe about his character tomorrow.

There is one thing that annoy me about Lost. Where can they hire that many people to work for Dharma and the Others outside the island? They have so many soldiers and scientists it's hard to believe they could keep everything secret.

They're very strict about who is on set when they're shooting 'secret' stuff, actors get multiple versions off scripts, they shoot multiple takes of scenes without telling anyone which is real/fake, etc..They talked about it some in the DVD commentary.

Its probably exactly the same as with the actors, the lower level people are kept as much in the dark as is possible. The secrecy of this show is pretty crazy though, they filmed the Jeremy bentham coffin reveal with 3 different ppl in the coffin last year to prevent the cast/crew from revealing it. The final season/series finale will probably be more protected then Deathly Hallows

In the original, original pilot, the one they showed to test audiences, he died in the first episode. People didn't like the fact they killed him off, partly because he was a doctor and whatnot. So they changed it up a bit. Or that was what one of those lost sites said. I DON'T KNOW!

iirc from the extras on season 1 DVD, ABC execs were the ones who told them not to kill off Jack, this is before they got Matthew Fox, they wanted to get a bigger name to play him, and then kill him off at the same time as the pilot, to sort of emphasize how fucked these ppl are since they have no leader. But the network told them they would completely piss off everybody watching since they would have nobody really to connect with if they did that. I could believe Jack knowing whats going to happen ultimately, but I don't think they would not tell Terry O'Quinn as well, since both are so integral to the story. They certainly keep people in the dark even to the extent of what will happen to their characters during a season as can be seen with Michael coming back in season 4 only to be killed off again (boy was he pissed about that)

In the same interview where Mathew Fox is said to know the end Terry said that he only recieves info for the episode he is working on.

BTW the person that was supposed to play Jack was Michael Keaton(sp) the original Batman with Jack.

It's not that he turned down the role, they don't have enough money to keep him around for as long as the show has run. He was only going to be Jack when the script called for killing him off and at that point half the characters we know and love weren't even thought up yet because they wrote them all as the actors came into audition for other roles.

Honestly, this seemed like they were messing with the actor for leaving the show the first time when he thought he could make more money doing other things. For some reason I think I remember hearing that too (possibly in last season's thread).

Originally, Michael Keaton was cast as Jack. In the first draft of the script Jack was to be killed by the monster after they arrived at the cockpit. ABC told the producers that they shouldn't kill off the hero so soon in the series and the script was changed. After the change, Michael Keaton backed out of the role since he did not want to commit to a regular series.
