Awesome episode last night. One of the best.
Really glad they brought back teenage Ben... as others have said, I bet Sayid will try and change the timeline. Should be really interesting.
Also, Faradaaaaay... where are you? ; ;
Seriously. Reminds of the father in Back to the Future. Annoys the shit out of me.
If i remember right.Really glad they brought back teenage Ben... as others have said, I bet Sayid will try and change the timeline. Should be really interesting.Maybe that started with last nights.Spoiler: show
You're both going to be very sad when Faraday ends up being the center of the show and/or Jacob! Hah!
I find Faraday's delivery makes his character more interesting. It could be that's the intention of the writers & not the actor's interpretation.
I find his pauses annoying too, I just figured they had him put the pauses there so it would seem like he was figuring out how to 'dumb down' what he says. Or something. I do wonder where he went/is though. Sawyer said 'Faraday *has* some interesting ideas on what we can and can't do' and then says with some kind of expression on his face that Faraday isn't here 'Not anymore.' Unless I'm over-analyzing, Faraday is still alive, but Sawyer isn't happy with where he is. Maybe he took a quick jaunt into time stream somewhere.
The scene with jack and sawyer at sawyer's house was great.
Maybe the scene w/ Pierre Chang/Faraday that opened Season 5 offers a hint to what happened to him lol
I'm interested in how Ben will interact with the new crash survivors when he wakes up. Walt said he dreamed of people trying to hurt John when he was wearing a suit so I'm pretty sure the crash survivors are going to turn on him. When they do I am totally sure it will be Ben leading the way.
Perhaps the new crash survivors will be Ben's new followers that he will lead against the Others. That could be part of the war mentioned.
The only thing that annoy me about Faraday is when he avoid question saying "it's complicated..." when he the answer is really simple (ie: "we time traveled").
That said, the constant pausing doesn't bother me. People talking like this are pretty common in sciences and maths
Right now, I'm going to say he is trying to find a way to change the future at the Orchid (or what will become the Orchid), but it's not impossible he is with the Others.I find his pauses annoying too, I just figured they had him put the pauses there so it would seem like he was figuring out how to 'dumb down' what he says. I didn't like the way Sawyer reacted. I can understand why he is frustrated, but I prefer his character when he is more helpful. The scene with jack and sawyer at sawyer's house was great.
I'm a little annoyed that Sun is the only one of the O6 to not get thrown into the past. Unless they have some explanation which will make total sense (within the Lost realm) it just seems like a lame way to keep Sun and Jin apart for longer to increase the "baaaaaaaw" moment when they finally get reunited.
It may have something to do with the contact she had with Charles.
I'm still waiting for Desmond to return, they better not have brought him back for the small part he had and then forgot about it. Maybe it will be when Dharma finds out that Jack & Co aren't who they say they are. The DI starts hunting them and they run to the beach. Dodging bullets and explosions they make it to the water when they hear somebody call. Here comes Desmond standing on the prow of his boat shouting 'Need a hand brother?' .... I just like Desmond.
The more they stick to the 'What happened, happened' just makes me believe Charles is his own grandpa all the more, no matter how retarded it is.
Also, I wonder if this young Ben is pre- or post- contact that we saw earlier (The Man Behind The Curtain, I think). I know he asked Sayid if he was a hostile, but even if he had made contact already, there is a chance he hadn't met them all.
Probably because she was not needed in the past. You can't change the future, and the world constantly fix itself to prevent any change...that's a fine explanation for me.
[edit]
After what Shepard said in the last episode, she will probably be the one who bring everyone back in the future. She will look for Jin, and will find a way to bring everyone back in the process.

Charles
I don't know, it would be stupid if Charlie end up being Charles. It would introduce a bunch of time loop, and I doubt they want to go there considering they are trying hard to avoid any paradox.
I think Sun isn't in the past because Locke wasn't supposed to bring her back(because of the promise he made Jin). Frank because he isn't a survivor of Oceanic, and Ben/Locke because they pulled the time wheel and the island doesn't 'want' them based on what I got out of Ben's conversation w/ Locke in the Season 4 Finale. As for Desmond I'm sure they'll bring him back either because Ben killed Penny and Desmond wants vengeance or because like Ms Hawking said, the island's not done w/ him.

Prepare to be creeped outttttt.
Sup Claire.
The funniest part is that yes it could be Claire but it's not the actress that played Claire. She never signed a contract for this season so she wasn't going to be in this season at all. They were gonna wrap her character up at some point next season if I remember correctly.
