any speculation on what actually lies in the shadow of the statue?

Fish biscuits.
No idea, my guess is something to do with Jacob though.
Based on the wall carving Ben saw, possibly something related to the Smoke Monster?
As well, when Sawyer/Juliet etc were jumping around before Locke stopped the jumps, they kind of show that the Orchid station lies very close behind the statue, so maybe time/space/energy related thing on the island..
Jacob's aka Jesus grave is in the shadow.
I liked this weeks episode, not on the caliber of the last two, but I enjoy the antics of Hurley and Miles, and seeing Dr. Chang get some screen time was nice as well.
It was a good episode. Not the best, but definitively not a bad one. Lot of good joke, and it was about time we get to see Miles's backstory
I don't get what ppl are complaining about, even an average Lost episode is better television than anything else on tv atm...
Rumor is, we get a Richard centric episode soon. Read the info for it and said it is based between the 40s and 50s.
I don't know how much truth holds to it though came I'd been thinking it was gonna be Locke.
The title of the finale is awesome and if the one before the 2 parter is richard centric the title makes sense.
I agree that would make sense, so hopefully it is about him. He's listed as a cast member of the episode, so he'll be there somewhere at least.
As for the Miles episode, I agree it didn't live up to the expectations I had for it, but it was still a good episode even if it wasn't as great as some others thus far. Plus it kinda confirmed the 3rd group going after the island which Ilana is a part of.
"What lies in the shadow of the statue?" do they mean Jughead or the monster?
I stole it in another thread (groovebox's sig)
