Anything with Locke AND Richard has to be epic.
Anything with Locke AND Richard has to be epic.
He tested the time travel thing on himself before he used it on Theresa. That is what caused his condition.
Maybe to clarify, his memory losses etc were the result of him shifting back and forth, without him actually being aware of what the memories were. Which is why he grew so upset when he saw the plane crash on TV, he was 'remembering' it even though he wasn't aware he already knew what was going to happen.
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK NO
Funny that everything that happened today is what I had in the spoiler tags cause I was told it happened in the finale. Now I can enjoy the finale spoiler free.
You guys see the preview for Jimmy Kimmel tonight. Its so great that hes a lost nerd. Thats the main reason I watch him.
What time is the kimmel thing? I don't watch it but I will tonight.
He even told Charles that it was because he tested it on himself. That is why he went ahead with testing it on Theresa, though she had a much more severe 'reaction'. If he had had any symptoms at the time, he would not have done it on her. Though I suppose the additional radiation from his experiments did not help.
Love the episode, alot of clarity.
haha, are you serious? The entire show hinges on the suspended belief of contemporary physics. I started to crack up when faraday says he studies relativity physics all his life. The thing immediately came to my mind was that traveling back in time is not possible, only forward.
I was thinking the exact same thing. That being said tonight's episode was fantastic and easily the best episode of this season imo. I absolutely love Faraday and I am praying that he isn't actually dead...
Actually now that I am thinking more about tonight's episode I am kind of pissed they didn't show him off of the island, I was hoping they would.
off of the island with the dharma folks that is, between 1974-77
Great ep, would watch again. So will there be an episode next week or is it another week without an ep and then the finale? God I can't fucking wait, shit will be so fucking EPIC. I am fully expending some last minute mindfuck that might rival Season 3's finale, which was amazing.
I keep forgetting that next week is actually Richard Alpert's centric. Good god I can't wait to see things from his perspective, he is definitely the most mysterious character along with Christian.
Wow, episode was amazing. Unlike everyone else I didn't see the Widmore/Faraday thing coming, but more so the very end made me a supersadpanda. =(
That Faraday speech made me hate the way they took the show. Relativity tells us not only that we cannot go back in time, but also that we can only go forward in time relative to others, we will still live a life of average length. Not to mention unified time/space heavily implies that we do not, in fact, have free will. It's on the fringe, but if they actually change the past I'll be convinced that this guy is the real writer of lost.

Sorry for the physics joke btw.
Bleh, I didn't want Daniel to die, he finally started to get interesting.
Amazing episode tonight though, all the stuff he talked about made me think that the show could possibly end that way....but this show always has me guessing wrong, so, it probably won't be that simple.
