They aren't gonna be filming at the same time and she did sign on for season 6 iirc? She'll probably just get a few episodes or show up in the finale or get killed off in 1 like matthew abaddon

I kinda hope that after the series ends they have a special where they sit down and talk with the actors about everything. Like what were the hardest secrets to keep, favourite scenes, etc. Would just be interesting to hear what they think once they're able to talk openly about everything. I'd really be interested in hearing Terry's thoughts on what just happened with Locke.

As annoying as that was to watch, I lol'd @ "Ohmagahd I'm falling... I'm still falling."
=(June 5, 2009 - *UPDATE*
This just in. According to EW.com's Michael Ausiello, the folks over at ABC only wanted us to think that Dominic Monaghan's appearance in the promo video signaled the return of his character on Lost. Apparently, this is not the case. However, Monaghan will be joining the cast of another hour-long drama on the network. They won't say which one at this point.
It's sad because he was the original reason I started watching LOST in the first place, as I was such a huge LOTR nerd at the time and it was the only one that had work after the movies aside from Viggo really.
Glad he's not coming back, last thing we need to see is another episode of him and his struggle against drugs. That got old after the third time, needed more Libby less him.
I don't know what the writers were thinking back when Charlie was around but they made him absolutely unlikeable for a bit. Then they made him one of my favorite characters right before he died. Perhaps they planned it that way since he wasn't going to be on the show but it was heartbreaking when he locked the chamber to save Desmond & then drowned.
I liked Charlie in overall. The drug issue was getting old after the first time, but the rest was fine. He had one of the best death as well, the episode was really sad.
As much as DL/CC have planned shit from Season 1, his death seems to be just the product of him wanting to leave the show and them readjusting stuff to accomodate. During Season 2 before/during/after they were making him into the island pariah he was dating Evangelline Lily offset and I think they broke up and he wanted to leave after the the end of Season 3. This is seen imo in the fact that the Desmond/Charlie is not present until the 2nd part of Season 3 and neither character is really discussed at all in the first part.
And they made him unlikable imo for the same reason Jack has been a douche for much of this season(recovering cold turkey from drugs) and because his background made him be the easiest character able to facilitate the larger plot events that happened (Sawyer's Long Con and Aaron's baptism).
Charlie had some interesting episodes but his character was always a second fiddle that never was developed much. I kind of feel Sayid has turned into the new Charlie where his character is entirely static and not being developed at all and I find myself caring less and less for his flashbacks beyond how they fit into the greater mysteries..
I hate to speculate, but I think Jacob's rival might be Adam (from the skeletons Adam and Eve in season 1). It does satisfy a number of conditions:
1) He must have died at some point before 2007 in order to need to take over Locke's body, so it's possible that he died in the 40's or 50's - it's also possible he died in the 1800's, I know, but at least he is dead so no "time paradox" there
2) The writers would not call the skeletons Adam and Eve unless they were an integral part of the show, and from what we saw of Jacob and his rival, it looked pretty important to the show's time line
3) The writers also said that Adam and Eve were proof that they knew what they were doing and where they were going with the show from the very beginning. Kind of hard to make someone like Rose and Bernard Adam and Eve and call it proof that they knew where they were going from the beginning imo.
Just an idea, and I have no idea who Eve might be, but at least we will find out in 8 months lol
Wouldn't having it be Rose and Bernard satisfy the criteria that they planned shit out? Since we met Rose + skeles in season 1, bernard in 2, they go back in time and then separate from the others wanting to just live out their days in peace (if next season brings all out war to the island as has been hinted at, they could very well have gone back to a safe place they remembered and everything is explained.)
I dont like to think it is either. Everyone time someone mentions that the smoke monster has a secret agenda I remember when Jin was 16 years in the past where he met Danielle's troupe. The people who entered the temple said that the monster was nothing more than a security device for the temple, and since then I imagined that the monster itself is either someone's or the island's(maybe a power greater than Jacob) tool.
Now of course it could be said that the monster cahnged itself into the people in order to trick Danielle into entering the temple, but i dont really see the point of that lol
