Looks like the price is 69.99 for each season with sale on Amazon.com for 49.99. Forgive me if this is old but usually when things say "Available for the first time ever" I believe them lol

I hate to speculate, but I think Jacob's rival might be Adam (from the skeletons Adam and Eve in season 1). It does satisfy a number of conditions:

1) He must have died at some point before 2007 in order to need to take over Locke's body, so it's possible that he died in the 40's or 50's - it's also possible he died in the 1800's, I know, but at least he is dead so no "time paradox" there
2) The writers would not call the skeletons Adam and Eve unless they were an integral part of the show, and from what we saw of Jacob and his rival, it looked pretty important to the show's time line
3) The writers also said that Adam and Eve were proof that they knew what they were doing and where they were going with the show from the very beginning. Kind of hard to make someone like Rose and Bernard Adam and Eve and call it proof that they knew where they were going from the beginning imo.

Just an idea, and I have no idea who Eve might be, but at least we will find out in 8 months lol

Damn damn damn. I was just going to post this here, lol. Well, part of it. I'm re-watching all the seasons, and in season 1, episode 6, when Jack, Kate, Locke and Charlie first find the skeletons, yeah one's female one's male. But if you took a look at the clothing on the only skeleton they really show, it looks exactly like Esau's tunic from the beach scene with him and Jacob. Also, Jack finds that pouch on the Esau-looking corpse and dumps it out, and there's a white colored rock and a dark, black colored rock. Much like the backgammon pieces people pointed out Locke was talking about when he was playing with Walt. Except these two rocks were on one of the bodies...interesting, interesting shit. Love this show.

EDIT: Also, just thought of this, what is Eve was Claire? We haven't seen her for a long ass time, and if Christian turns out to be smoke monster or Esau, the last time we saw her was with Christian.

I've never really noticed most the Lost actors before Lost. Sure I've seen movies or shows they played in but they were never memorable and when I watched Lost I didn't remember them in their old roles until I went back and watched. Now though whenever I spot somebody on something else I shout out "Oh shit its such and such!"

So I was wondering, who do you think will be successful post lost? Who do you think we will see staring in more roles?

I remember about the white and black rocks, and I think they definitely support the theory that Jacobs rival is Adam. Same with Backgammon, and the proverbial showdown of good versus evil that seems to take place between Jacob and his rival. I didn't notice that the tunic Adam was wearing looked the same as Jacob's rival so kudos for noticing that.

Also, if you think about it, there is no way they made Rose and Bernard Adam and Eve. Esp with the white and black rocks Jack finds next to them. I mean come on, the white rock symbolizes Bernard, the black rock symbolizes Rose??? Could you imagine Carlton Cuse or Damon Lindelof saying this:
"Yep, the entire time the rocks symbolized nothing more than skin color" lol

Matthew Fox is the only one who will likely find reliable work not on TV, Kate was essentially new to US TV so she could forseeably explode careerwise but I think she would've had some big movie roles the way Matthew Fox has had..

IGN: Lost's Matthew Fox Talks Season 6

Using the word "sad" to describe the ending makes me intrigued and happy. To say that the season will start right up explaining what happened after the nuke is...a little, I don't know. So far I've liked how every season starts with something random for the first few minutes that seems like nothing to do with the cliff hanger then you see how they connect or whatever.

I was hoping for a Richard centric season opener. Like him getting to the island for the first time, or him standing in line at a Wal-Mart buying the ship-in-a-bottle kit.

Strange to see those words just weeks after the season finale right? Well there seems to be information recently swarming all over about the season opener being leaked.

Normally I wouldn't take two looks at it but funny thing is, it sinks up with the rumor that recently surfaced about the actress that plays Shannon being seen in Hawaii and her being signed on for a few episodes. Also would set forth some events that would finally shed more light on Desmond's ability with time travel.

The script first describes the "Previously on Lost" segment, showing the Oceanic Six returning, Daniel's plan, Eloise shooting Daniel, Jack telling her they can undo things, up to Juliet striking and detonating the H-bomb.

The episode then begins with Jack in his surgeon scrubs speaking to a patient in the hospital. He tells the patient they were lucky to have been wearing their belt during the crash, or the damage could have been much worse. The patient, whose face we don't see at first, blames her boyfriend for driving drunk. We pass over a calendar hanging and see the date: February 8th, 2008 (thus making this after Jack and the others left on Ajira Flight 316). Jack says he'll check in with her later and leaves. We then see the patient's face.......it's Shannon Rutherford.

Out in the hallway, a nurse walks up and tells him he has a visitor. She doesn't know who he is, and warns Jack that he's upset and seems unstable. Jack walks into the lobby to see who it is. It's Desmond Hume, looking worried and unkempt. Desmond is relieved to see Jack. Jack asks him how he can help him. Desmond looks crestfallen at this, but asks if he remembers him. Jack stares at him, then recalls: they met at the stadium several years ago.

Desmond, now more excited, asks him if he remembers the island, or the Lamp Post, or anything that has happened in the last few years. Jack tells him he has no idea what he's talking about. Desmond, dejected, says something to the effect of "Not you too." He begins to walk out, and Jack asks him why he thinks they know each other.

Desmond stops before he reaches the door, turns around, and says, "Because I did know you.....in another life." He leaves.

Also something I just thought of rewatching these episodes - I'm not one for the whole "Locke was used the entire time" bullshit, but remember his dad - he was used by his dad the entire time, played hardcore. Would be an interesting parallel, and not too far removed from what Locke's used to. I personally think he knows too much and is too prideful to be used like that but who knows.

Yeah, main reason I posted it was cause I actually smiled at the idea and didn't hate it. Also cause of the whole rumor thing. But all in all I don't really think things like that would leak this soon or that they would be working on it this soon after the finale. But its an interesting read and thought.

I don't like the spoiler. A time reset would cause too many problem or loop hole imo. Either way, even if it happens, you know they will undo it somehow, or the whole season 5 was useless (the half in the present)

I'm absolutely certain we havent seen the last of Locke. We got to see his "dark half", but we have yet to see the "white" one. And Locke will save the day near the end of the show, because it's the only fitting end for him. ;/
