Jeff is pimp and all, but I'm jealous.
Also about the voices, I always had mixed feelings, on it either being The Others fucking with people or the smoke monster. Either way it was not a mystery that I cared what so ever about and wouldn't stay up at night if they never explained.
If everything with Frank, Sun, dead Locke, and Ben is erased, you just wasted the viewer time setting up the "present" plot. There was some nice character development there (especially Ben), and erasing what happen is incredibly stupid. It would also mean they unkill Jacob right after killing him, since the whole scene never happened.
Dead people are going to stay dead, and if they are back somehow, they will die again. Next season is going to pick up where they left off in the future.
It's not that they erase everything that happened, Illana, Sun, Jin, Ben, Locke, Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Hurley, Sayid and probably Desmond/Faraday (to lesser extents), should still have knowledge of everything that happened, and would in theory come back to the island knowingly in order to save Jacob. Also, Frank was originally supposed to be the pilot of 815, perhaps this time they will seek him out since apparently he needs to be there too?

Seriously, how could they forget this?

I read them, and they are either a) bogus, b) a dream/Vision Jack had or c) an alternate version of the past that will bring them to the same point with their complete memories or everything.
Lost writter wont get stuck in a bogus time loop with ever changing future, and they wont make half of what they wrote for a season insignificant. I'm ready to bet on this.
I'm re-watching all of the episodes, currently on season 4. I highly recommend doing this if you're a fan of the series. It's amazing how many minor things tie into the story later on which you could have and probably did deem as unimportant initially; from Sun's pregnancy test being Widmore brand to the name of Daniel's lab rat being Eloise.
Would just like to point out for funsies, watching Smokin' Aces right now..Richard is one of the assassins and Matthew Fox is the head of casino/hotel security. Richard kills Matthew Fox, rofl this is hysterical to watch knowing who these two are. Also maybe FORESHADOWING FOR LOST FINALE OMG OMG OMG. Jk. Would be funny though.
Keamy(sp?) the merc leader who kills Alex is also an assassin in Smoking Aces, I think Richard and then Keamy got their roles on Lost because of Smoking Aces.. but yeah.
I'd have to say Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia being an Other is still my favorite outside show tie in to Lost..
Mac was an Other? I have to see this. What episode?
Danny DeVito was an other as well >.>
The episode is titled Not in Portland. Season 3 episode 7. When Jack is doing surgery on Ben.
Are you fucking... What episode!
It would be an awesome thing for the entire cast of It's Always Sunny to make an appearance in Lost.
edit: ok saw title you posted, oops
Sorry, it was a joke about Danny. But the episode I mentioned was for Mac. If I saw DeVito I would laugh myself to tears. It would be like randomly casting Christopher Walken. Hmmm.
Mac is the guy guarding Room 23 where Ben is holding Carl. He gets fucking decked by Sawyer. Well apparently they have been approached by various celebs who are fans of the show for guest spots so we potentially could have seen DeVito or Walken on the show (or somebody equally out of place).
I would flip out with glee to see Charlie Day make an appearance. In character of course.
Wild Card, bitches!
