The difference is noticeable on 3rd strike alone. This is the reason at every Evo you see some people dragging in their own 22" Tube TVs to play on. When it comes to $500 MM's you don't risk your resets on HD lag XD. I have a brand new Samsung 120hz, etc etc etc TV, but I still don't risk it when playing tourney matches.

My HDTV has 7ms lag according to the GH test so I'll just live with it so SF4 can look pretty. Plus I'm not gay.

Solution: CRT HDTV...best of both worlds. I'm never getting rid of mine, 0MS lag, and still looks better than any LCD/DLP/ETC.

Course it weighs 300lbs and takes up a huge chunk of space...not going to be dragging that to any tournaments.

(if anyone cares, Sony XBR960, best TV ever made, these newer techs still haven't caught up).

and Welltall I have never played much further than Philly in anything so I can't say I have ever had my ass handed to me by anyone big named I will admit. Your list is impressive.

I play mostly Third Strike and ALOTTTT of CvSnk2 still, you should know more than anyone else in this thread however using the word "Cheap" was, is, and will always be a cardinal sin amongst true SF fans (Arcade kids). I felt the need to at least call you out on that, when you get 360 or I get PS3 we most definately will have to get some matches in.

TGA, the top arcade in New England, got flooded like a month and a half ago. Their shit got wrecked, including their SF4 cabs, IIDX, etc. The damage was so substantial that they're closing their doors for good, and are selling off anything that still functions in an attempt to recover some of their losses. On the bright side, my roommate and I are trying to see if he has a couple functioning candy cabs still to drop in our living room.

Yeah, I for sure misused my words when I said "cheap"; I mean, come on, my main MvC2 team is Mag/Storm/Psy and my 3S is poke-Chun. I know there is nothing cheap, and there is a way to get around everything. The only thing, and I'll stand firm on this, that is close to being "cheap" is Cable's 4x AHVB. That just takes no skill other than knowing how to quickly do hypers in the air from the ground before you opponent resets.

I miss all the old crossover games. I loved beating people's asses with Terry Bogard while they spouted off about how awesome Ryu is. I loved all of them. All of them I say. Nothing like beating Ken and Ryu with Gambit and Cammy. It sucks though because nobody I'm friends with is even remotely as good as I am. We play on my friend's arcade cabinet. There is only one guy I know who can give me a run for my money. All of my friends grew up on Mortal Kombat so apparently I'm the odd little duckling. But good lord do I love me some Capcomy fighting goodness.

I wasn't a huge fan of Third Strike. I enjoyed it but I liked the older versions more. Call me nostalgic.

My biggest complaint about the game so far is the cheesy "Indestructible" song. I've barely scratched the surface of what the game has to offer but it feels like a solid fighting game.

I don't really care for Seth, he feels tacked on for the sake of it really, but then again Capcom never really seemed to give enough of a shit to make an effort with the storyline. There wouldn't have been anything wrong with leaving Bison as the final boss, or even Akuma or Gouken.

Because 99% of the time a release day is the day it ships. It is 'released' from the warehouse on the day in question.

I don't understand why people keep throwing those stats out about stores not getting them until a day later. In fact, my store got it two weeks ago. But for some fucked up rule we normally don't put it out onto shelves until a day late.
