both characters are 2 completely different styles. just 2 boxers in one game? i rather they add someone else in a different category who wasnt a shoto/boxer/dive kicking yun/yangs like Urien maybe?

btw, im having some geif issues. when he does that splash crossup, i always guess wrong on what to do. do other ppl find it as a guessing game too? its not like i can jump straight up to avoid any SPD or low jabs because his body is huge. im getting so frustrated at it lol. usually if its normal players they just lariat or SPD, so i block the crossup anyways and i if i dont see a lariat right after, i jump straight up to avoid the grab. but with GOOD giefs, i dont know wtf to do

I assume you're using blanka? i'd say your best option is to try to focus -> backdash out of the splash. You might wanna mess around with it in training mode to see if lariat or ex-hand will stuff your dash before getting too predicatable with it. Usually a knockdown for a good gief is free for some chars with no good gtfo tool.
