yeah i'm in the same boat, although i didn't get SF4 'til the $20 sale at gamestop a few months back. aside from my bad habits inherited from GG/BB, i just can't seem to do well with a pad at all on this game. hoping to score a stick soonish, and i might give it another shot.

anyone have experience with the HRAP3? the premium version seems to be pretty well regarded and from what i can tell doesn't use any hori parts as far as the stick/buttons go, which is apparently a good thing?

I'm not looking to spend a huge amount on a stick since it's my first time buying one. I'm looking at the Hori EX2 right now since it's 60 bucks... I can only assume that the HRAP3 / EX is better since it's the newer model but then again I'm all new to this. >_>

From what I remember way back in this thread, Arcade in a Box are the top of the line ones but they were way way way too much for my blood when I checked the site out.

-Much anticipated Team Battle gets implemented. You can choose the rule (2 on 2 to 4 to 4) yourselves.
-When you select this mode in Request Mode and enter Arcade, you don't have to wait again in the Lobby for your partners to come, as they will already have selected READY, so no waiting. No waiting time.
-You can find a random partner, but also invite a friend for a team.
-Lobbies, you can gather peeps to watch fights together, night after night.
-'When you get tired and want to watch tv, don't touch the remote just yet!', because you can watch replays instead.
-In SFIV you had to click on each and every replay you want to watch, now you can watch a bunch of them with one button based on categories.
-No limit on replay saves (those that you watch on the Channel at least). Prolly. (their words in red) (Whether you can save all fights you want is still unanswered, but god I so hope so)
-Testing Team is busy day and night.
-Work in development, so everything can still get changed!

Leave Rog alone... kinda and improve his TAP and let his OH be safe on block. ALSO, why the fuck would I have to memorize which character can be OH, c.mp or c.sp? When NYJoe was helping S-Kill demo SSF4 at the NYC fight clubs he said they didnt nerf Sagat, they made him better, and you will hate Capcom for them making Seth even harder.

I probly shouldnt say this but I've gotten better against Sagat players, trick is stand in the middle, Sagat is too powerful up close and far away. My MMO experience has helped strategizing ^^b

I dunno, I hate the sagat fights, they may not be super imbalanced like a lot of people would like to cry about, but they definitely require a lot more attention to detail than other matchups.

i dont think you really mean like "this is the only fight i gotta pay attention to" type of statement, but i know what you mean. his dmg is retarded and has like a million anti airs lol. ff's he got a forward roundhouse that hits you if you even think about jumping and gets you in the starting animation

you gotta play a great sagat if you want to see how imbalanced that shit is sometimes lol. online sagats dont stand a chance for practice against a REAL offline ones lol.

but with that said, i dont mind the fight already. i dont blame my losses on the other character being overpowered anyways. its just me being clumsy or careless and sometimes just not paying attention lol. but i really dont think they need to make him more powerful lol, good lawd!

Super Street Fighter IV Team Battles and Endless modes detailed

Capcom recently fired off a fact sheet in our direction for Super Street Fighter IV and while most of it talks about the stuff we already knew -- additional fighters, online lobbies, car punching -- it did inform us of two new online modes for the expansion to this year's excellent brawler and hook us up with some screens of the updated lobby system.

Teams of two, three and four will be able to see who's the best Hadoukener around in the new Team Battles mode, which is a "round-robin elimination" mode where "one man stays until beaten, next team member rotates in," Capcom's Chris Kramer told Joystiq. So players will be able to either control a team themselves or assign slots to other players in the room. Just don't go expecting any tagging in and out -- that only happens in other Capcom games.

The other new mode is Endless mode, a one-on-one elimination mode where two players duke it out and the winner stays in the hot seat and fights the next individual queued up. If you've had any experience with DOA 4, then Endless mode is kinda like that game ... sans the ability to be a chicken in a sombrero running around a martial arts dojo.

Capcom was also kind enough to include some new videos, strictly for training purposes. You can check out newcomer Juri fight T. Hawk above and, if you want some MAXIMUM gameplay footage, head past the break to see her fight Deejay.
