thanks for the tips lol. i dont currently own a stick that works, but i borrowed one, and i noticed easier linking.. but i still need to practice. its not 100% but its way more than the 10% it was before. i was expecting an easy ride, but my fingers arent used to it at all. i feel like im typing on a keyboard when i tap them, kinda weird.


i played a guy from SRK named chunbelievable. you guys ever heard of em?

yeah, i've heard the name and seen him play a couple times just from youtube videos, he was quite good if i remember

ahh ok, i heard he was supposed to be one of the more bad ass chuns in the west.


yeah hes pretty good, his gen is ok too. but idk, i think a lot of you couldve owned him too, lol. his chun is good with mixups, but he only has one, where he kinda forces you to guess, but its easily manageable if you back dash, and to win against people who know what they're doing, you need a bit more tools. he would neutral jump fierce a lot, which is easily stuffed with hop trickery-> upball, and he liked to combo into the standing jab to overhead kick, or the sweep, which really wont work. its easy to see when the overhead kick is coming out, so i would block low and try to wait for an option select ( he never did) and if i saw the start up animation, i either FA'd it or just blocked. i ended up switching around some characters because i could tell he was getting frustrated with the blank'! but i like it when people give their all. there has been plenty of times when i get my ass kicked online. i dont hold any grudges, and idc about taunts, lol. i stay and keep trying my best and learning from it. he was slowly losing his confidence and just stopped trying. but its all good. online is never really a good way to train unless you're just trying to learn the matchup anyway


edit: but ya, that p-linking you guys showed me, helped me a lot. im getting a little used to it now, but i need to buy a stick sooner or later, after i rebuy another PS3 with SSF4 and FF13 lol

i always have a shitton of trouble with the blanka matchup on chun-li to be honest, the only time i ever don't hate seeing someone else pick blanka is if i'm able because you can basically stop them from doing blanka balls once you get ultra up (if they know you can punish a ball with your ultra anyway)

because my disc scratched after i finally got my 270 repaired =( like seriously 20 minutes after i got my new power brick i managed to roll my chair into my xbox and now my disc has a huge fucking scratch on it D:
