Alternate costumes are for-pay. Alternate colors are unlocked by doing Challenge stuff, out of the box you can only pick two for the normal costume. I assume that carries over to the alternate costumes.

Doesn't carry over for the alternate outfits. I only have 4 colours for the standard outfit but I've had all 10 colours for the alt outfits from the get-go.

What's next? Buyable costumes for Resident Evil 5? I don't like where this is going either. Unlocking costumes used to be a fun reason to replay games, and unlocking colors isn't the same as costumes. Not as rewarding at all.

I noticed that one of Vega's moves takes off his claw and mask. Does the player get any benefits other than a bit more speed for losing the reach?

You can throw the claw for shitty dmg at the opponent, and you can throw your mask to increase your dmg but lower your stamina by a little i believe. The mask move takes half of your EX meter IIRC

In other words, dont use this shit unless you are owning your opponent and just want to rub it in that they should sell their copy of SF4 and stick with more buttonmasher type fighters like DOA, Soul Caliber or some other trash.

Hey now, as much as Tekken/VF/SoulCalibur(esp SC) are 3d trash, DOA4 was fucking legit. It had insane depth and a good counter system. MikeInfinite and I played the shit out of that.

I love kens online now. I just beat one pretty bad and he just yelled "YOU FUCKING SUCK" loud as hell. I don't mind using the 360 controller with the analog stick to move around and for attacks but if I do get a stick soon which one would be the better choice?

Oh God, not this again. Do NOT touch anything MadCatz. Buy an HRAP3 + sanwa buttons from an online site to go with it. All of it has to be purchased online; you won't find it in the stores.

Actually, for the price that HRAP3 is at right now, you might as well buy one of the Arcade-In-A-Box custom sticks.

I was about to say...HRAP3 at double sticker is a fucking sucker's price...

also, does anybody make customs that space the stick and the buttons a little further apart than normal? I kinda have damaged wrists and would prefer more than 4 inches in between the two...comfort > being able to reach for jab/short with my left pinkie.
