The quick connectors on this one were so damn tight compared to other ones I've messed with...

I also had a really small flat screwdriver, so it kept slipping and slicing my fingers on the shit lol. There is blood all over the wires, but it works and looks great XD

Imo Final Round is larger now, and I think it because it is large for a tourney not being in Cali / Vegas and in a different region of the US.

Both suck, and you will be paying $400 + for a TE online right now. Like I have told others:

Your best option: arcade-in-a-box , just google it.

2nd best option: Buy a HRAP 3 and use a site like lizardlick.com to buy Sanwa buttons / Octogan gate / custom stick and install. Installation is easy.

eww octagon. I prefer square gate. I've got a HRAP2 I've modded out with sanwa buttons, and I've got a T5 anni stick I'm working on doing right now for my brother (damned genericass mounting plate for genericass stick). But there were whispers that capcom wanted to bundle the SE with PC release, so that wouldn't be too bad a deal if they actually start checking the bloody things before they send em out.

Yep, I didn't expect the online to be as bad as it was. We were hoping for sanctioned online tourneys, but that isn't viable anymore. The only thing left is forum fights ;x

Come on man, you should know how popular Street Fighter is and always has been. This game especially takes it back for a lot of people who may have gotten out of touch with the series with all the familiar faces. You face the same kind of idiocy in SF4 as you do in any other game you might play on XBL or PSN. People hide behind anonymity and think they can do whatever. Who cares? They paid their 60 bucks for the game, just like you or me. They might not adhere to the same standards that we do, but I don't care. I have a blast playing them and wiping the floor with them. If they happen to quit, big fucking deal, I only get 1 point for beating them. I'm in the top 50 on Live, and rarely get any great matches. Even when you put match to the same skill or greater, you still get people lower or higher.


Also, on a completely different note, who is being a sucker and buying all the costume packs as they come out? I am for one, as I got the LTD and makes no sense to wait for the bulk release. Sucks you need to buy costumes, but some of them are really nice. Out of today's Shoryuken pack though only Ryu's is really good, and Dan's is mildly entertaining. Ken, Gouken and Akuma's are complete shit. Some of them are just trash overall. Very lazy job.

Agreed, most 99% of all Shoto's will either jump in with an attack, or jump backwards and shoot a fireball. They will almost Shoryuken every single time you walk towards them while on the ground. Get in soooo many free hits that way. They never learn either, which is the funny thing.
