I decided to switch back to Abel as my main. Akuma's combo's are really tricky to land, and in lag it's basically a coin toss. Losing matches due to a wiffed combo makes me raaaaage.

Shoto characters are also a fucking joke with Abel. Don't mind seeing Ken/Akuma/Ryu/Sagat's when it means I get to cash in on some easy BP!

Just hit 2,000 tonight. It feels good to have a lot of points but it almost doesn't seem worth it when you only get 15-20 per match, but if you lose you can say good bye to 125+. I don't mind risking that many points if I could still gain maybe 30-40. That way I can make up for a loss in 3-4 matches as opposed to 7-8.

search for your skill or more skilled and you should never lose more then 80, im having a really hard time getting matches in my BP range, takes forever and somehow the rooms always fill up before I get in, I have a MUCH easier time on xbox live. i find this slightly odd cuz i dont think its attributed to a higher player base, i find around the same amount of guys playing in my range as I would on psn, however the higher frequency of games has allowed me to get higher up on xbl.

Still get matched with 0bp people all the time on that setting, and if they happen to be good, or you just happen to play shitty for a fight...or more often what happens to me is they're SO obviously bad you get over-confident and start fucking with them doing "throw" "taunt""taunt"taunt""throw" and eventually they hit you with an ultra and you lose ;0 course that's my own damn fault, though it's funny.

I won almost 40 consecutive games last night and lost most of that progress in 5 losses, the whole BP system is just whack, the losses just count for so much more than the wins, if I fight a 0BP guy I'm putting 125BP on the table and he's only putting 1. He has everything to gain and I have everything to lose.

I don't hate Ken the character at all. It's like Cyde said, I'm just tired of seeing him. At least he's nowhere near as bad as Kilik is on Soul Calibur IV, a spammed character with awesome lagtactics.

I laugh everytime the online Ken's do a SRK on wakeup. I always block low on the first knockdown and if they don't do a SRK right away then I know they are above the average Ken. If they do a SRK, I just rushdown and beat the hell out of them.

Yeah, everything you just said is pretty much spot on.

You can look at it like poker, would you wager $125 to win $1? No, and no matter the skill level of the player.

My roommate plays a pretty strong rush-down Rufus. You can definately tell that random online scrubs have no idea what to do against him.

i play either ken or dan online but ive played ken since sfII back when I was like 10 so I don't care if other people don't like him. I consider myself above average but im not a pro street fighter player or anything like that. I do hate playing people who use ken and do nothing but SRK/Hadoken over and over. I normally dont SRK on wakeup or knockdown but most of the time noobs fall for it so its easy damage.
