Had my buddy who sucks play some while i was in the shower and raped all my BP, as of right now, gained about 3k in 30 straight wins with Gen of all characters. Online players are so terrible. Sometimes I just message the Sags and Rogs and remind them of how they are free wins to my Gen and that they need to get back into training because I am sick of fighting pathetic idiots on this game.

I usually get the infamous "Sorry I have a life" response. When are people that suck at any type of online game going to come up with something better than constantly using the RL card? Do they not realize they all use the same material/excuse?

there are times im glad i dont have a USB headset for SFIV. I got tired of turtleing around with sagat and wanted someone to fuck around with up close. So i went with Cammy for a few rounds with a few misc matches just to have fun. I dont care how much i beat up the other guy or how much i lose. But when i hear them trash talking me before the match begins.. "oh you're choosing cammy? you think you gonna win with cammy? god your a fucking retard."

the guy stereotyped me right off the bat, but after he chose Akuma, i knew he was just gonna be another bandwagon "shoryuken-er" and beat the hell out of him and threw him some taunts. What makes it worse is after i shut his ass up, he magically d/c in the next round.

I hate that in ppl. Even if i win, ill never gloat about it, its fucking retarded. If i lose, ill want a rematch with my main guy so i can get even haha, or if not at least i learned a few things.

The "sorry i got a life" card is just an excuse for ppl who have terrible timing. This game has been out since we were kids. Im sure they picked up more than 50 dozen times and got the grasp on how to play.

My roommate and I have long since stopped playing random dudes online. We only really play friends that we've made at tournaments long ago that live too far away to just come by and play in person.

Not with Abel because no one plays him. Akuma is broke in the wrong hands. Jwong was Ding people with no remorse left and right.

Abel's kara's suck, I think they're all crouching which makes them really hard to execute in a serious match. his jab tornado throw has awesome range/priority/damage and comes out just as quickly too

So, my theory is that BP is not the only thing the computer calculates when it searches for other players under the "same skill" setting. It might figure in your Icon and maybe even your Title.

this is false, I play on both xbox live and on psn with high BP on both. I use an icon on psn but I dont on xbl, doesnt make a difference.

I am looking to buy a stick for XBOX 360 and was wondering if arcade in a box is my best bet? Is there somewhere else to get a decent stick for SFIV?

I am an extremely casual player but much rather have an arcade stick, I would like cost to be $150-200 or less.

Just looking for options since I am pretty clueless on the subject.

I ordered an arcade in a box stick a couple weeks ago. If you order one from them, you will have to wait a couple months because of the back log caused by SF4. But from what I hear it's worth the wait. TE sticks are being price gouged right now. If you don't want to wait, look into Hori sticks. Sticks are in demand right now though and might be hard to find at a decent price.

re-read my post, i was refering mainly to the Special Icons you receive after beating each characters hard combo trials. Do you use one of these on PS3? Or just the generic ones that anybody can get?

Even if im wrong, after seeing only one of these during a months' time before unlocking my own and seeing 10 of them in an hours time is highly suspicious....anyways, its just a theory.

Beating him put me up to 1800 BP on the dot, the trophy for 100 online wins, and the trophy for 10 Ranked Wins in a row.

Good times.

Found out they hold SFIV tournaments on base every other week or so for cash prizes, so gonna be on alot this weekend with my roommate practicing if anyone wants to whup my (or his) ass.

On PSN I've reached the point where its impossible to get a game. Idk when the people with as high BP as me play or if they play at all. Theres either the japanese who wont play me, the people I recognize as droppers or theres people I've beaten who wont play me anymore. Theres this one guy who tears it up with blanka but thats about it. If anyone wants a match my PSN is Scunsion.

Totally coincidental imo. Between my roommate and myself, we've unlocked all of the Trial icons except Seth, Akuma, and Gouken (we haven't bothered unlocking them yet). When either of us plays online, we almost always have one of the box-face icons set. I'd say my personal ratio of matches is about 20:1 in favor of people without a Trial icon.

While we're on the subject of trials, how the fuck do you do Bison's 4th Hard Trial? I'm at a complete loss as to how you're supposed to chain the Crouching MP and MK together since the punch pushes you out of range.
