yea after watching the video i tried the combo and was easy to pull, still its a bit hard to do the Ex cannon strike and pull a normal right away, but at least now I'm able to use them online and its working.

I'm convinced now that Abel is just made to destroy Viper. Trying to play through on medium and all the whole match is "Roll, roll, tornado throw, roll, tornado throw, etc" until KO. Thats it. I swear that effing throw takes priority over everything.

Just jump when you see the roll, and use fire kick as he comes out of it. That should beat his AA grab, c.fierce, and definitely beats tornado throw. If you don't cross him up, then EX Rekkaken might beat fire kick, but at least then he's blowing meter and likely won't be able to do much to follow it up since it doesn't really juggle.

^ Abel's roll is easily punishable by simply throwing him out of it at the tail end of his end (when you see him start to come out of it). For those roll>tornado throw players, if they keep doing it, keep punishing it, they'll stop.

i been using blanka alot. sagat is still my main-to guy, but i hardly use him anymore. i feel 0 satisfaction winning with him.

its like in FFXI when you're parsing against a 'ok war' with a relic sam. the outcome is just nothing to be proud of even if you DESTROY them lol

Well I have been playing a lot of Chun Li, but neither her or Sakura are above mid-tier so it takes a lot of work to win with them. I played in a tourney and won last night with Rufus, but I fucking hate playing him.

I am going to work on either Sagat or Viper here soon when I get more time to devote to them.

Just got back from the National finals and it fun as hell.....US part was a joke kinda, knew it was gonna be Jwong and Mike Ross in the finals when I saw the brackets. There was lots of scrubs in it, one guy used a pad even lol, wish I didn't get a broken controller in my round 3 CUZ JWONG WOULDA BEEN TOAST. Anyway, International exhibition was where it was at tho, wish Jwong coulda pulled through for America but he did a really good job I think. The whole crowd threw up their hands everytime justin landed ultra wish rufus at the end of the animation when rufus lands that double handed final hit, it was awesome.

edit: even if poon came in last, i still respect him a hell of a lot. hes so fucking aggressive, that ppl come up with obvious strategies for him specifically. but even when prepared and knowing what to expect, he still brought the pain
