I'm glad to see C.Viper is doing so well although I was pretty much forced to quit her because I can't do cancels consistently on a game pad. I've been using Cammy a lot and beat arcade on Medium without much difficulty.

I've been trying to play Viper for the last 2 weeks or so. Man she's hard to use >.> I was getting my ass kicked for a whole week until more recently I started to win more games.

It is certainly very satisfying to win with her because a lot of people don't know how to deal with her :D

Best example is JWong vs. DarkPrince money match back at Evo.

Jwong low tier vs. DarkPrince god tier.

DarkPrince won like 10 to 4.

Jwong beats him 10/10 times with God Tier characters.

While to some degree it applies in general, I was really talking specifically about SF4. I find it to be one of the more balanced fighting games I've ever played. I've seen far too many people dominate with mid to low tier characters. Mike Ross's Honda is a great example.

Yes, SF4 is more well-rounded, but you still won't see a Sakura/Dan/Gen/Ken/El Feurte win any serious tourneys. Tier > Skill.

I agree with you here, the only reason why tiers annoy me is because you hardly ever see any good/pro matches without seeing all the usual characters. There's only so many videos you can watch before the matchups become boring.

Yeah, Mike Ross's honda. Problem is he hates playing Honda,, he is at a total disadvantage. He's been playing some other chars secretly

Edit: On the discussion of tiers, yeah those that are posted are still stupid. but there is some validity to it. For example a good Sagat (one who actually knows what they are doing and not just picking him because they think they can win with them) will beat a good honda player 9/10 times. I feel bad for Mike Ross and his Honda has to face a good Sagat haha

Honda is just a worse version of Blanka. I have no idea why any one would use Honda.

Edit - MvC2 countdown website launched. Announcement comes in a little more than 6 days. I'll cry if its an HD version. Most likely it won't be, and it might not even have online.
