Maybe tonight, I'm gonna actually go buy a copy and possibly set up an XBL account (finally), why isn't there a thread with everyone's location/XBL/PSN thing like they did in the brawl forum btw

Aah, I'm on PSN![]()
Hate? it's best commercial stick available by far...the only issues with it are the PCB failures, but the ones that work(most of them) are awesome...if you built a custom stick you'd be using the same parts...so I don't see what there is to hate.
I have several and prefer the TE by far now that I've had it for awhile, and at least in my local fighting scene it's much the same, almost everyone got one.
Balb just kicked my ass! ;o
Does Gen have an infinite? My Chun just got juggled up against the right wall for 3/4 of my life until I was finally put into stun status, at which point I got super'd in the face. Never hit the ground until stun![]()
Sorry whoever I was just playing, Octpus? Bunch of friends over falling all over me wresting for a stick lol. I missed like 5 ultra cancels with Ryu, but my Chun was good esp since she should never beat Viper :O
It's np ;o I'm on eastern time so it's about time I go to bed anyway. Had good fun.
I think you are exaggerating lol
No he has no infinite that i have ever heard of and I consider myself very good with Gen. His cross up game is sick and easy to juggle, but mostly it's not gonna hurt too much. His damage just sucks so bad.
Playing alot of Sim now, having alot of fun but god I can't get any type of sick Iyo wannabe tele cross up games working very well.
=(
I've watched my roommate go from full life (and I mean totally full, his life bar was yellow) to dead without being able to react at all against a Gen player, so it's definitely possible, though not really an "infinite."
It involved both a Super and an Ultra however though, so it's not exactly something that can pulled off on the fly.
right, but that's just XBL and doesn't give relative area or who's playing SF4 >_>
but whatever, i should be doing homework
also, how do people feel about charge vs. 'regular' characters? i've found i have an easier time doing things with someone like CViper or Ryu versus MBison (not the boxer) or Chun-li and the like, thoughts/opinions? easier to do charge characters with an arcade cab?
Gen, Fei Long, and Abel all have "infinites" , not infinites in the traditional sense, but they can do 900-1100 damage(enough to kill anyone but gief) in a single combo, many of those combos only work against specific characters and not all of them.
Unless you're Seth, then every character has an infinite aginst you!
I have a large problem with charge style attacks. I'm getting better about buffering the charge while doing other things but I hate not being able to whip a move out of nowhere from idle like fireball or dragon punch motion specials.
yeah i know exactly what you mean, it's somewhat hard to not give everything away that you're planning on doing and turtling the whole time (for me anyway), so trying to be more aggressive with charge style attacks is a bit trickier, but i think it's more fun in a sense, sure as hell is more challenging if you ask me
Meteora, sorry I have to go for a little. Good games! I learned a lot about the boxer matchup.
52 online fights, 13 wins. i forgot why this game is gathering dust lol, fuck why do i suck so bad at this sht
It's all cool! There's definitely more to learn when you get beat (if it's not due to lag, etc)
