nah I cant imagine playing anything that relies on frame traps/linking online anymore, fuck that.

Just sayin', if the brawl player understands the concepts and can see how latency would screw that then it shouldnt be hard for anyone to grasp.
Anyone wanna take a stab at me? I'll be on tonight for a while
Brawl player = that guy in the CORNER!
Come on Ryko-kun![]()
Dont have a 360 or a PS3
Not really surprised it's going to be on steam
Street Fighter IV on Steam
only addition is thisAvailable: July 2009
Exclusive to the PC version of the game, three visual shaders based on the "artistic" trailers give a new look to the gameplay: Watercolor, Poster, and Sumi-E ink styles
That could be really cool
Although I thought I read somewhere that it's going to be DRM'ed... Limited activations, no thanks!
I hear what you're saying dude. When I switched over to the stick, I couldn't do any sort FADC > Ultra with any consistency (from left side esp). My QCF motion ALWAYS translated to a srk in that situation, yea it's annoying but I just chalked it up to not being comfortable. So I switched it up to charging (CH), which I didn't think I'd find fun but I love it lol...
As regards execution, for me with Chun you can't afford to get hit alot due to low HP. So you kinda learn to play a much more careful game and punish mistakes rather than make them. Her offensive lineup is ridiculous, but get too happy with it and you'll be eating dirt quickly. Sometimes I gotta tell myself, "There's 99 seconds on the clock, CALM THE fck DOWN!" lol
Oh and I whiff plenty of moves at times, glad to know you can't tell when![]()
actually we do lol. i remember you told me to that a while ago too, i shoulda listened. i thought i could get away with it because of this:
YouTube - Street Fighter IV Square Gate Dragon Punch Technique Tutorial
also, you might know this. but who is this guy? Dark Prince:
YouTube - Demon Hyo Perfects Dark Prince at Evo2k7 Evo moment #38
everytime i see videos of this guy, hes usually getting his ass kicked or trash talking someone else D; is he REALLY feared in evo at MVC2, or is he just another joke? lol
Nor-Cal Tourney Series Fuddruckers Continues last sunday in May, the 31st.
April 29th's Tourney we only prepped brackets for 128 had to close sign ins at EXACTLY the time we said so, i usually keep em open longer. Looking to see 150+ people this time its definately worth the trip out if you live anywhere within driving distance of the bay area/ Concord and a couple people are offering floors to sleep on.. NOT mine.. well.. maybe.
If you think you can actually win this shit it would probably be worth an airline ticket for the cash prize alone. Last months 1st was 448$, id like to see more this month, and we're negotiating other prizes as well. Here's the link to SRK sticky.
May 31, Sunday Fuddruckers HYPE! Tourney (SF4/MVC2/HDR/SF3S) Console Tourney - Shoryuken
Yea this would definitely be a direct fix, but I have the ls32 semitsu stick, which there isn't an oct gate now for it which I found out after the fact, just round and square. I'd consider the round, but that would completely jack up the charge game, so I'm not gonna bother. The sanwa won't fit on there either from what I read. So I'm stuck learning the shorter motions because riding the gate won't help lol...
i feel you, my stick isnt easy to modify either lol. i ended up getting a simple hori 3 ps3 stick, but at least its do-able on that one.
try using the link i posted earlier. is the stick really loose on that one, balb?
Ya I just checked it out. Thanks for the link, I can use that style in being able to consistently combo more into DP. It still doesn't really help the actual QCF motion, which is more of my problem for ultras and fireballs. Still good info nonetheless.
The semitsu stick has a tighter spring with gives a little more tension, which is why I went with it. I didn't want a loose stick. When/if I get the JLF I can compare the difference for myself. But, I just felt that when I move in a specific direction, I want it to be deliberate, I don't want to feel like I have to be extra sensitive for fear of hitting the wrong input and blame the stick. Now for my buttons, I went with Sanwa, because of the sensitivity. I'm not a masher, so I'd like my stick to last. My setup is kinda an oxymoron, but it makes sense to me, kinda...![]()
Dark Prince is an absolute joke. Clockw0rk took care of that kid awhile back and shut him up.
What the freak, Clockw0rk on a FFXI forum. Nah, i've never met you, but I am local. I one of the like 5 dhalsim players down here. And as far as MvC2, I just started it last summer, Mike Ross refuses to teach me and acknowledge the existence of the game lol. Name is Warren btw
