Octo has a good Viper, I could only consistantly win with Cammy (my main). He completly destroyed me when i used any1 else, except for a couple of flukes with Rose![]()
I was in this tournament for sf4 this weekend and I had to deal with all kinds of hadospamming chars but my cammy was able to neutralize all of them. its really easy and i wouldnt worry about hadospamming if I were you it is far to easy to counter. I recommend practice because then you can win your local tournaments as well. I pissed off alot of gamers with my cammy, even got into a fight with some negros in the parking lot. Good thing I know how to shooorrryuuuken!
god, fucking faggot ass shoto players and all those faggots who just repeat the same two god damn god-tier priority moves over and over, fuck that shit it's so god damn boring to play against, they should remove ken/sagat or at least make it so that if the player thinks about using shoryuken i'm immediately back across the map with 20% of my health gone from a single fucking fierce one god
if it weren't for the few good players out there i'd have quit this bullshit a long time ago
call me a scrub or whatever, this shit is fucking retarded, i'm literally being beaten by some stupid fucking blanka who just keeps doing the roll up into the air -> back up repeat shit for 10 minutes, it's so fucking stupid boring i just give up and go afk

Solution to all your problems
Excellent post Charismatic..... <3
noob question:
how do you block abel's 3 hit combo move? the one that starts off as a regular move than the one you need to block high for and than the grab. i hardly play abels so im out of practice on them, but how would you go about blocking it? even if i block the 1st 2, he always managed to get me on the grab. can you tech throw out of it?
Basically you have to block normal -> (either high or low) -> (either high or low)
The third hit is not a grab (it's a hit), and you can tell whether Abel is hitting high or low by (if he hesitates a little bit, it's a low hit)
The second hit is not always high either.
Since we're on the topic of combo attacks, I'm having trouble dealing with Fei Long's three punch sliding attack. I always either eat the combo, can't get out of blocking while they chain multiples together, or eat a flaming vertical kick if I try jumping over...
Just block all 3 then attack, Fei Long is stuck on a long pause after he finishes the combo. Now if the person you're playing is smart enough to stop early or delay the hits, then it's a slightly different story.
Devil Reverse is that one where it flies up with and goes inverted with one psycho power arm out right? Hate that move. ><;
One trick I find works out pretty well is to keep spamming Devil Reverse and flipping out of it, and when they finally just assume you'll keep spamming it over and over (i.e. you're just building meter), just pop it but don't hit Punch and fly right next to them and throw.
Other random things... If you don't have Ultra or at least one stock of Super available, Bison is a sucker for crossovers, but if either of those are available, EX Stomp or the Ultra are excellent ways to stop a crossover attempt. I've been blasting my roommate alot lately with the Ultra when he goes for the wakeup crossover.
As for his combos, Low MK into LK Knee Press is my standard whiff punisher or general pressure tactic (make sure it's a LK Knee Press unless you know the hit will land, since MK or HK are punishable). Crossing over with MK (or another other random jumpin), Low LP, Low MK, Knee Press is his best all purpose combo, again with making sure you use the LK version unless you know the combo is going thru.
Going with the Knee Press theme, alot of times if you get blocked, I find that hesitating a split second then doing another usually catches people trying to poke at you.
Other random things I like, once you score a knockdown, alternate between doing a stomp or going for the devil reverse and timing it out so you flip right over their anti air (this works great on shotos). If they block the stomp, you score chip damage (and the stomp has really good chip damage), if they try an antiair, you'll usually recover first and be able to hit them on the way back down.
Alot of Bison's game (at least imo) is heavily based on anticipation and trying to read your opponent. As it goes on and on though, Bison's lack of a ground based overhead attack is harsh.
Oh and make sweet sweet love to his standing MK, it's more or less the best poke in the game. Also his HK to stuff jumpins
Alright! Balb just beat me up and I'm looking forward to the youtube videos :D The last game he said he didn't get though and I was doing so well that set![]()
adding you ragnus, lets get some casuals in.
Here they are. I coulda swore I hit the rec button on that last set, then when I went to turn it off at the end it was obvious lol. Was a good set...

At any rate nice matches. You're getting better at keeping the pressure on once in close. Learn the hammer > flame kick > ultra and you coulda finished some of those combos nicely. That's the one combo I love seeing even when done to me haha![]()
Thanks for the videos! Watching those videos make me wish I executed some of the comboes better. I was missing EX hammer -> SJ Cancel -> Flame Kick many times
I definitely need to deal with focus attack better. I kept thinking HP Thunder Knuckle had more range and was using it like a shoryuken >.> lol
My roommate (the 2nd quote) just sent me this funny exchange on TNL boards.
