haha great and same here of course, I was kidding! :D

    I've never played SFIV before though because there aren't worthwhile arcades in my area and I haven't really played any SF in ages either (I was pretty good at 3rdS back then but nowadays I'm totally out of shape, I barely recall any move tbh, hadouken and shoryukens aside);

add me then if you feel like it, my PSN ID should be in the signature below!

To those that already have it, did you import or buy it from a store?

Whats the Sanwa USFN-30 buttons? And does the HRAP3 also work for 360 (I have both PS3 & 360, but was planning to get the game for 360 due to it prolly having a better online community)? Err... why is the 360 version more money...

A couple of things I see here you have mixed up:

    1. The Shoryuken community is where most of the real competition will be found. They are almost all going with the PS3 version to avoid the Xbox kids, the D-Pad, and Xbox Live charges(most of them, unlike us, play only fighters).

    2. The Sanwa buttons(btw- I typed the part # wrong, its OBSF-30) are snap-in Japanese buttons with faster response times than Hori/American buttons. The difference is UNREAL between the two, and once you play with Sanwa you won't believe you ever used an American button. Here is an order link:

    Lizard Lick Amusements - Pushbuttons

    3. HRAP3 - you must buy it for either 360 or PS3. The PS3 one has been on Amazon since late Decemeber. The 360 version is being released this month on Amazon/online stores. I am not sure of a date, but it may or may not already be out. Again, you would rather go with the PS3 stick here.

    4. If you want a custom stick (much better than anything else, despite what some retards on here will tell you otherwise) that works for BOTH 360 and PS3 without converter input lag, then go here:

    Arcade-In-A-Box, LLC : Home

Note- The default price for the mixed ones are like $229, but you will need to add Sanwa buttons and a sanwa JLF octo gate for an extra #35 or its pointless. You can add custom art, etc for more fees.

Are you sure most sho people are going PS3? I saw a lot more people listed on their Xbox thread and only a small PS3 list. Maybe I'm blind.

I'm talking about the top 50-100 players. I know most of them from tourneys. I really don't care to beat around on BG scrubs lol.

Why would the D-Pad matter if all the top players are using sticks? And theres a function within the matchmaking system that only puts you with players that are around your ranking. All those points seem pretty moot after you think about it...

Those custom stick do look pretty sick, but what's the point in paying an extra $20 for the bat top? A lot of people prefer to use ball top, and if you go to any tournaments with an arcade machine or their own set of sticks, wouldn't it be beneficial to be comfortable with the normal style?

Then don't order a $20 bat top? lol......MvC2 players prefer bats over balls for palm pushing the top of the stick for triangle jumping. Most good Sf4 players will be MVC2 players.

Blazblue is also a PS3 exclusive. I can't think of any important exclusive fighters on the Xbox360. I would suggest putting all fighting genre efforts on that.

Lol, I had a 36 game streak on Blazblue at the arcade the other day.

I don't even wanna talk about how bad I raped those guys @ Capcom vs Tatsunoko

Is there any good stick to get for PS3 where I can just walk into a store and buy one? I am not into modding or have and idea about messing around with the insides of a stick.

The Madcatz ones seem to be getting good reviews on many sites, but its fucking Madcatz known for their shit quality. It shows a lot of people that bought one are reporting problems on forums.

So is there anything good that you can buy in a real store. I prefer a store cause if it doesn't work right I can go in and exchange it right away.

If you live in Cali, NC, or NYC maybe. The only ppl giving them good reviews are people like you who just want to walk in the store and don't know what they are talking about.

    Just a FYI.

Just need something that's good enough and works, just to have fun with. Doesn't really have to be the best. Not like i am going to go to play in evo or other tournaments.

I bought the stick Weltall recommended from Amazon... 2 day shipping was $7.50 and I'll have it on the 17th. Can't beat that... and Amazon has a great return policy if the item is defective. I don't consider myself a hardcore Fighter player either, but I remember those days of playing SNK on my PS2 and it made me cry because i couldn't pull of anything w/ a decent rate. So I think it's a worthwhile investment (and not "too" much more then the Madcatz)

Seemed like the Shoryuken reviews were generally positive as well. The video ones anyway.

Because the board is currently flooded with new users. Fuck it, I don't care, buy it. Just don't bitch about it when you lose.

Maybe I didn't play MvC2 enough, but how on earth does a Battop make triangle jumping any easier than a balltop? It's not like you couldn't do it on the arcade cabinet.
