Not at home so I can't say for sure, but I think you press RB on the menu to open multiplayer options, should be somewhere in there.

3rd option in that menu. Arcade Req Settings, just shift it to the left until it's off.

I might go to West Coast Warzone just to hang out and watch the matches since I'll be on leave, but don't think I'll be entering, especially since they're using 360s and not PS3s (stick isn't modded to switch back and forth and no chance in hell I'd try playing on a 360 pad).
