Nah, against someone who knows what they're doing (which you do), it's really an uphill battle for Viper to fight against Honda/Rufus.

I find Honda kinda easy vs Rog. Even if they get close for the ochi throw or w/e, the jab stops them on their tracks ;D I push them back w/ quick s.p straights and use it to counter their regular headbutts ;o Throw in a bunch of mix ups and the fight isn't that bad.

The main problem vs Rufus is that Rog doesn't have decent wake up moves. And trying to do a FA retreat usually fails due to lag...

I have a question for Rog users out there, I'm trying to do the following combo but I fail all the time:

Opponent is dizzy

• FA, >>
• hk
• c.lk
• ex.upper (this is where I fail)
• c.lp x 2
• headbutt

Any tips for charging the ex.upper?

as soon as you land the focus attack, immediately perform forward dash and then hold back. the dash should come out a half of second after you perform the input, which allows you enough time to buffer a charge for the HK, C.lk link.

i never considered honda a counterpick for rog, imo they are both pretty even. the uphill counterpicks are fights like seth/sim vs blanka, in favor or seth/sim obviously. such an uphill battle which you def need luck to win against a skilled user. seth vs gief looks pretty 1 sided too lol. but fights that people claim are counterpicks like rog and blanka arent so bad. ya rog can stuff all my moves with a punish, but that just means i dont do any unsafe blanka balls. just walk up electric and play a ground game and bait him out for stuff.

i think the worse counterpick is probably abel vs geif though lol. idc how fast abel is on that command throw, a good gief who knows how to do more than lariat and SPD all day can make the game hell for abel ;

I play on PC, GFWL name is the same as it is here. Working with a keyboard so I can't do anything fancy like MK hands, but I like to think I play a decent Gen.

Rumor: Street Fighter IV Dash Characters : News : EventHubs.com

Take this rumor with a HEAVY DOSE OF SALT, nothing in here has been confirmed, but things are looking slightly suspicious.

Henaki on the Shoryuken.com message boards mentioned he heard through a friend of a friend of a friend that the 10 new characters for Street Fighter IV Dash (Championship Edition) are:

* From Street Fighter 2: Dee Jay and T. Hawk.
* From Street Fighter 3: Dudley, Ibuki and Makoto.
* From Street Fighter Alpha: Adon, Cody and Guy.
* Plus two completely new characters.

He claimed this information would be revealed at, or right around the time the Tokyo Game Show takes place (Sept. 24 - 27).

Now, pretty much anyone could jump on the forums and claim these characters will be in the game, but Henaki has a solid reputation and a ways after his post was made the thread was deleted. Normally, threads are locked for stuff like this, but the current post was up to 4 or 5 pages before it was zapped.

Was it simply a mod who deleted the thread instead of locking it, or is there actually some truth to this post and it was subsequently removed?

Either way, it will be difficult to know the facts until more is confirmed from Capcom or another source, but the official Japanese Street Fighter 4 blog is said to be updated later on with new information about the game, so it's possible we may hear something soon.

Out of all the characters in alpha, I'd be extremely disappointed that they choose Cody (Give me Birdie, Karin or Rolento please!)
