    Moghancement: Bonecraft Furniture Setups

So I'm looking to maximize storage as best I can. Being a mage (staves/instruments) and a crafter isn't easy with only the locker/safe/gobbiebags. I used to have a bare MH with my d.fang and 2 mannequins in it and some other small random junk just to get Moghancement: Bonecraft.

What setups would you recommend for me to maximize my storage space while still keeping my 2 mannequins and Moghancement active? I'm stumped

If I'm understanding this whole furniture crap correctly, it seems really crappy for bonecrafters because of the lack of dark element furniture.

I'm not there, looking to the future on it, but I know that the bamboo furnishings are a big factor in my future layout, especially since I could get double bamboo with NPC event storage.

I think there's some paintings that also are considered. It's gonna suck taking down my nation flags though, can't storage a furnishing

I'm gonna put in 9-drawer Almiras until I have storage, put in items I need elements for, then remove as needed/possible, maybe switch down to Bahuts. I have Red Jars as well which are 7 storage and fire based, by varying other elements you can have a better shot at keeping the moghancement you want.

I set up a buddies mog recently for bonecraft. Can't remember exactly but we used the bone furnishing, maybe one each of 4 different kinds of colored 9-drawers, a bookshelf, and a couple of chocobo bedding. 350kish?

Not an attack, just a curious question. You don't have any mules? Most of my jobs would be butt-naked all the time if I couldn't ship off their stuff elsewhere when I didn't need it. I can't imagine how I'd function as a crafter and someone with multiple 75 jobs without a bunch of mules.

I suppose I'd own a lot less clutter if I had only my main login...

This will give you 80 storage and Moghancement: Bonecraft. You can't keep flags up(in any situation?) and keep Bonecraft skill unfortunately.

I have the exact same situation as you Diabeetus, multimage + Bonecraft. This is what I use, it gives me 80 Storage Moghancement: Bonecraft and I can even swap to Moghancement: Campaign whenever I want just by putting in/taking out my Jeunoan Flag.

    Royal Bookshelf
    Wardrobe
    Imperial Standard
    Drogaroga's Fang
    Cartonnier
    Windurstian Flag
Jeunoan Flag (only goes in when I do Campaign)
    Dark Lamp x2
    Elvaan Mannequin
    Taru Mannequin
    Mithra Mannequin
    Galka Mannequin
    Red Bamboo Grass
    Green Bamboo Grass
    Blue Bamboo Grass
    Republican Legionnaire's Bedding

Works nice and even looks decent.

I would suggest get the signboard, one of patches made Star Globe not overwriting the Moglification: Bonecraft. It is a strong boost to dark element.

I have 5 Mannequins, I just cant bring myself to throw them away even though they are wasting spaces when I can get Bookshelves.
Drogaroga's Fang + Boneworker's Signboard + Star Globe + 1 of the Bamboo Plant is what I use to keep my Moglification

I feel you on the mannequins... I used to have 8. It was really hard tossing 4 of them.

I have mules, but they're mostly there to sell my crap or to stock up synth mats for a huge batch of synths (GTFO unstackable weskit mats;; ) but I always found that storing equipment on jobs you use often is such a huge time waste. If by mule, you mean a seperate login and account altogether, I'm not looking to pay twice my monthly fee just for that convenience.

Mules on the same account take forever to transfer gear back and forth from, from the logging in and out, delivery boxing a max of 8 items, going back, clearing dbox, repeat, etc. I'm aware of the 'Return to Sender' thing, but again, if my mule is really holding only items in his dbox window waiting to return to sender, he can only hold so much in that window really. I guess you can cycle dboxing but that shit just gets annoying with the wait time between dbox checking.

I have 4 jobs at 75, 1 upcoming, and outside of gear for those jobs, I do not keep anything else. None of that coffer key crap (I see people keep those all the time, what the heck for?), no misc. quest items (if I started it, I'm gonna finish it), and I never lot on gear that I dont have a job for that will currently use ie. I'm not a big lootwhore. But I guess to each his own, some people love to keep misc. gear for every single job at every level and some are just pack rats. I could totally understand if you're a Maat's Cap player, or close to that, even with certain gear overlap it'd be pretty intense inventory-wise. If you're like me, you want to make sure each job you play is played to it's full ability and that requires a lot of gear swaps.

Sorry for the rant, not meant to be an attack either, just wondering how the rest of you multi-75+100crafts manage inventory issues?

11 75s atm, 2 jobs in the 65-67ish range, and the last 2 Maat's jobs in their 40s along with a 100 craft. Gives me a hell of a time though.. my solution came up recently; a friend quit and gave me his acct, so that's my mobile mule now !

I pretty much do exactly what you do. If I'm never gonna use it, or it serves no real purpose other than "town gear". I don't lot. I have recently dropped alot of "shit" items. "Prudence Wand", "Hope Staff", "Y's Scythe", "3/3 Skadi Head", and a lot of 15 Salvage pieces that I have come to the conclusion are kind of pointless for me to upgrade with my jobs.

Even though my setup bases itself around decoration, it still allows a good bit of storage room. However, if you're going for minimal mogsafe space with maximum storage space, you can go by the basic enhancing items I have to overwrite whatever else you choose to get.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...118_060641.png

This is a total of 38 furniture pieces - giving 80 storage slots. Also, I only have a faint energy. That can easily be resolved.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...118_060844.png

    Enhancement items:
    Drogaroga's Fang
    Boneworker's Signboard
    Autumn's End (2)
Black VCS Plaque (Chocobo raising, hehe)

I have 3 Nation flags hanging on my walls, which can be replaced by 3 more Autumn's End paintings(I used 5 of the paintings before I got the Signboard and still managed a very similar setup). I also have 2 mannequins as you do.

I've been 100 Bone for like 2 years now and never bothered to get the Fang until last week. I can't get Mog: Bone for the life of me, I have Mog: Dark. It so annoying trying to figure this aura shit out.

I run into the same issue, having jobs such as Ranger (ammo takes up a HUGE amount of space) and Bst and Blm (large gear macro jobs) plus a 100 craft. When I did my moghouse to get my moglification and aura, I started really from scratch and just kept adding 1 piece at a time then checked my enhancement. If the item didn't fit, then I tossed it. I did a HUGE amount of spring cleaning too, just getting rid of equipment I will never use, but picked up just for the hell of it. This process took a good two evenings of game play, so don't think its a 20 minute thing.

For element strength though, I had to toss 2 of my Mannequins, I only have 3 left up now. I also had to balance making my mog LOOK like a real house, so getting some really weird pieces of furniture crafted for me(expensive but worth it now imo) to both fit the element strength I needed as well as the storage and how they looked. Make friends with a woodworker and you can accomplish this easily, alot of woodworkers have never made the furniture you will want possibly, so they might just craft it for you for free to have "made one".

I used the furniture guide on ffxiwiki while doing mine, to avoid those pieces that gave element, but gave some other enhancement, have to be careful of those.

Also, Storage is your friend. Work on completing AF2 sets and such and store everything you can. Store event gear ( i like doing the seasonal events, but then just store them) and that will save you alot of space. I so use a couple mules too, for jobs I am leveling at the time, because it just doesn't make sense holding onto like 20+ things while leveling thf (another large macro job).

The easy way out would be to use enough yellow 6-drawer almirahs in conjunction with the tapestry until earth is the dominant element. Should give you the clothcraft moghancement.

Hmm what's the difference really between 6drawer and 9 drawer yellow almirah?

    Anyways i tried this,

Yellow 9-drawer almirah (9 earth strength)
9 drawer almirah (9 water strength)
    gilt tapestry (9 earth/cloth strength)
    imperial standing (9 Fire/conquest strength)
windurstian flag (9 Wind/Windy Conquest Strength)
    Dream Stocking (3 Lightning/Desynth)
    Wing Egg (2 Earth Strength)
    Lamp Egg (2 Earth Strength)
    Flower Egg (2 Earth Strength)
    Hatchling Egg (4 Dark/Region Strength)

    (Totals 24 Earth, 9 Cloth, 9 fire/conquest, 9 water, 9 wind/conquest, 4 lightning, 4 dark)

So that only gives me 41 storage. Which isn't too bad with my current junk.
But it gives me Moghancement Earth. I tried adding in more of my christmas stuff, like trees and snowmen, and still got earth. But as soon as I put a bahut in, it changes to gardening. Does my total earth strength have to be <9 so it doesn't over power my gilt tapestry?

This is what I have, Can reduce it even more by tossing flags and the plaques and the Mannequins and get a couple of double didget storage items.

I sure will, as soon as ATT comes out and activates my DSL (we just moved the end of February, so i'm game-less till about Wednesday. I'm able to post here at work.

I've got my moghouse set, so all I have to do is equip the stupid signpost if I want Moglification, or if I remove it I get mogenhancement. I'll get you a list of what i've got, with screenshots probably thursday (crossing fingers that ATT gets stuff setup Wednesday successfully).
