Don't take this the wrong way but... clearly, then, you didn't know jack shit about him.

He's an unbelievable fucking prick, all he's done since he got there is lose good players as a result of being a douchebag, and fuck over as many qb's as he could possibly get his hands on.

I hope they get someone good, and I hope Garcia decides to stick around and gets a good shot at the Super Bowl next year. If they can stay healthy with a real coach they'll be freaking scary.

I liked Gruden too. Never had a problem with him at all. He'll get another job, he's not a bad coach. If douchebaggery made you a bad coach or if your players hating you makes you a bad coach, then Parcells would be one of the worst coaches ever.

Yeah... gonna agree with Tyche here. It's not that I thought he was the nicest coach of all time.. far from it. Everyone knew he was a douchebag from the outside, but that shouldn't be the real reason that people don't like him. There's are tons of coaches out there that aren't looking to make friends.

I liked him mostly for the job he's still done over his seven years, and his personality. I thought he was pretty funny, and I think the people that let their panties get in a wad just need to stop acting like a bunch of pussies. :/

He is a bad coach, look at the team he was handed, look at the team now.

    He's an overpaid offensive coordinator.

Keep Dungy there, hire Gruden as OC and give him no decision making power at all, Bucs win that SB + at least half the ones since then.

I dunno, 3 losing years in 11 seasons. 5 division championships in 11 seasons. He was "handed" one of the best defensive teams of all time, this isn't the 70's, there's free agency, you can't keep amazing teams together for long periods of time.

I think they're likely letting him go just to get a better defensive mind at HC. They DID just lose the DC that's been behind all those teams this whole time, and I'd imagine they need more than just a new defensive coordinator feeding into a new scheme. That, and usually if a GM gets fired, whoever the new GM is when he comes in usually picks his own head coach to come with him.

I never thought gruden was an elite coach in the first place. He inhereted a defense that was flat out ridiculous and had one of the best DC in the league for a bunch of years. With that formula in place you will win atleast 1 championship.

Tampa's late season collaspes is only because the team is old, you got some dinosauers on the team now.

Maybe we will spend some money instead of being 30mil under the cap with our lone offensive star not even being in the league last year. Even though I love the guy I hope Brooks retires, Barber too get some young talent on both sides of the ball and make brooks the linebackers coach^^ Gruden did a good job but it was time to move on and start fresh, no more old ass past thier prime player signings anymore too I hope.

I liked Gruden too personally. I wouldn't consider him an elite coach but I think a lot of his teams overachieved considering some of the injuries they've had over the years.

Keep Dungy there, hire Gruden as OC and give him no decision making power at all, Bucs win that SB + at least half the ones since then.
I know I'm gonna get blasted for saying it but I disagree with this completely. Dungy got fired because he couldn't get that team over the hump (ie getting their ass handed to them by Philly in the playoffs every year) so they brought Gruden in and he obviously did. You could argue that because of McNabb's injury he couldn't scramble and spread the D like normal, but the fact of the matter is Dungy couldn't get it done and Chucky did.

I'm sorry to say but Dungy was overrated in my opinion. He routinely had one of the top 2 teams in the league with the Colts yet always managed early exits in the playoffs to inferior teams. His only SB was gifted to him by bad calls in one game and a miracle comeback against the Pats when half their starters were out in the second half. Dungy is a great guy but he underachieved far more often than not.

Trgovac and Fox are the SAME reason that Kris Jenkins asked to be traded last season, we dealt him to the Jets ultimately and now look.

John Fox needs to DIAF already. Fox is getting WAXED on the TV and radio here for anyone interested. Wow. Peppers says he "refuses to play in this scheme" anymore and sick of people questioning his talent when the issue starts "at the top". Holy cow.

Again, all my bitching proves to be right once again. Lost Kris Jenkins last year, Peppers this year and both of them cited Fox and Trgovac as the reasons as to why they are leaving the team. Get a fucking clue already.

John Fox is a fucking idiot, he just released a statement defending his coaching style and that of his staff over what Peppers is saying. FUCK! Go away already...

Inside the Panthers: Fox defends team's use of Peppers, says club has options

Julius Peppers about to be gone...

Carolina gets a lot worse next season, and it is the year for the Saints to push them out of the playoffs....

    Steve Smith starts wanting traded....

Yep, I have an insane ability to call these things; I am telling you now, Smith won't be on that team in 4 seasons. (Heck, I won't even need 4 seasons to win this one)

If Jerry Rice didn't stay a 49er, Steve Smith has 0% chance to stay in Carolina his entire career. Just get right with the idea now.
