Its the same trick play every team runs when they're not in Hail Mary range, and it has worked before in the past. Any Eagle fan can tell you about the heartattack we had when the Giants nearly finished that play and got it to the 5 yard line.

It depends on where in New Jersey you are. None of the New Jersey based teams (including the Giants and the Jets) are even remotely near my town and Philadelphia is less than 10 miles away. We don't even get Devils/Nets games.

And yeah, the hook and ladder play can work, but they didn't get off to a very good start. At first I thought they were going to run a short pass out of bounds with 1 second left on the clock.

If you live in Monmouth County or south of there, you're just as close (if not closer, as you move further south obviously) to Philly as you are to NY.
