Sam head is nice in the event that you need the accuracy (lurker or meleeing byakko without madrigal or something).

Soboro is nice on 1f Salvage, especially with a sch for enspells too.

Hagun shines so much more as your gear and merits scale up.

Body isn't horrible for WS. Osode is better.

Hands OR feet should be part of your 6hit assuming you don't have usukane sune-ate and you do have a rajas ring. Personally I'd favor hands because dusk gloves look asstastic. Bearing in mind you need 21STP on TP and WS to maintain 6hit with a 450 delay GK (IIRC, I usually fail at STP calculations)

Hachi hands so you can WS in whatever hands+feet you want, and so you can use fumas and not get move speed down

Hachi body for WS if you don't have/can't afford osode

Hachi head and legs are crap for everything.

Feet are ok for tp if you also ws in them, and if you want to tp in dusk hands (cause you have them for another job and don't want to buy fumas or have dusk+1 hands already, or something)

Hagun wins by 1.25%

You might be thinking that 1.25% is really a small increase, however this doesn't account for things like meditate, tp'ing to 200 for sekkanoki, or skillchain damage, all of which favor Hagun. In reality, I would guess Hagun is actually around a 6% increase in overall damage/time.

Truth of the matter is that Hagun wins by 2-3%, deppending on parser. Hagun is the best you can buy. it is worth 3+ mill? , well this is a buyers market.
Since im not fully merited yet, i just like to use polearm for events( not hmn of course) and it works great for me.

Dunno why ppl feel so threatened when hagun is questioned, is not your d**k fellows!

The recent testing on Y/G/K seem to show that ACC wise, YGK pretty much just caps the damn thing at 95 on most mob, even HNM class evasion mobs.

PDIF boost is pretty huge too, with varying amount of alteration, though the difference between 4 WSC and like 9 attack in PDIF seem to put Osode in advantage when considering the attack value on the PDIF calculation during YGK would reach over 1000 attack.

Myochin Haidate +1 are good STR legs if you can't afford or have the means to get better. Plus they have 4 STP if you don't have Byakko's Haidate and are going for that six hit build.

some people already had SAM to 75 before ToAU was released. not arguing that polearm isn't good for bird camp, but before ToAU was around, soboro was the best thing around until hagun. the fact that you can still solo SC with it puts it ahead of polearm closer to 50.
