I suggested life sized seasonal furnishings, artifact and relic armour, and relic weapon wall hangings. I also suggested that they SHIP TO ME IN CANADA! I couldn't buy the Leviathan chain, and I totally would have.

I didn't put that and wouldn't want one of those but I did suggest they make "real dolls" of popular characters at the bottom where they give you room to suggest other merch.

I thought the nation rings were a cool idea so I suggested the CoP rings be made along with custom ordered player figurines. I dunno why they chose Taru NPCs for merchandise but Shantotto and Yoran-Oran were the only ones I picked.

To be fair, rather than them pulling more shit out of their ass, they're asking us what we really want from their crap so we might actually find a diamond up there. Pretty shrewd, not only will they have a better chance of producing something worth whatever they're charging us, if it fails, they can simply blame us and say we don't know what we want.

Has there ever been a mandragora plushie?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it was made for FFXI because not too long after it came out it was followed up by Koragin type mandys and the normal Mandragora plushie went out of production. My fiancee has one that I bought her for our anniversary. I can post a picture later if you want to see it, but I'm sure someone on here has it that can post one more readily than I can at the moment.

Oh and I asked for Apkallu plushie and concept art/books like Elmer seems to find except actually published by Square-Enix explaining game concepts the community still has a small understanding of.

I use that almost each and every day but I don't think enough people actually use it and also I rather doubt that most of the info makes it to the dev team.
