I don't even think our high will reach that, 36F right now.

In actual cold weather news though, I have this desktop thing for ND news and it has the weather for South Bend (why I don't know), and it currently reads -24F with "Fair" conditions (looking at weather.com though these seems to be the wind chill...actual is -5, but still cold as all hell!).

-34°C here in Fredericton this morning, lowest I've seen when I lived in Saint John was about -55°C, everything shut down because if you stayed outside you ended up freezing to death. Goodbye homeless people~

Lies, I grew up in Sask where in tends to get that cold for weeks at a time (in fact it was -53 two days ago in Regina) and they don't even close the schools there.

It's been in the 70s for the past week or so in Cali, and it is supposed to stay in the 70s for awhile. No clouds at all...

When I left for work last night it was -10F (-23.3C) before windchill. While I was at work it dropped even more to a lovely -26F (-32C). My car has a new battery and it barely started. ._.

I think our weather balances out with the fact we actually get snow instead of fire & earthquakes compared to Cali. Not trying to take any jabs, but as far as natural disasters go 'It's cold and my power might go out' seems pretty mellow, plus no annoying bugs or anything over the winter is nice when you spend time outdoors.

Late October to March is pretty much an acceptable winter to enjoy the pretty white stuff and everything to come with it.

my moustache had many an icicle hanging as the damp forsted breath left the safe confines of my parka on my trek to ye olde subway station, as they call the new rails beneath the city's walls (let us take a moment to remember the lives lost building the railroard -- well, not this one but surely railroads must have blood let for them somewhere)

on the television today they announced the weather would be announced in Kelvins, due to the fact that the low numbers expressed with the minus sign (-40 degrees celcius etc) does not reflect what the Canadian government would like during this difficult financial climate (oh hey, I think I made a right pun there eh?)

so the next time you watch the canadian weather on our one channel that we have, it will be a 3 digit number unless they decide to go to Alert way up north there, but as they say:

I surely know Steve and he called you a "hoser" and said that you owe him $20 and a Creemore from when he did that favoUr for you a little while back. I'd pay him back, he is not unlike Steve Wilkos from Jerry Springer fame. His new show is great, he yells at people and tells them to get out, like Montel Williams without the racism.

I remember this huge blizzard and freezing rain storm that hit when I sill lived in Waldorf back in 1999. There was this 6' thick sheet of ice that literally covered the ground in my neighborhood. School was out for about 3 weeks and I remembered seeing kids actually ice skating on the street.

Seriously, none of yall caught this? Tsk, tsk. Or dude really had ice on the ground taller than almost nearly everyone around lol.

It was down to, what, 13F here this morning. FREAKING COLD!! If its gonna be cold, at least fucking snow plz... I wanna go skiing this year. >.>
