Springfields are quality weapons, and I've heard good things about the Sigs. I think the next one I buy will be a Kimber 1911 though.

kimber makes a nice fashion piece, don't pay that much money though, less expensive more functional 1911's out there. especially since they are affiliated with some anti gun groups.

I think we can agree that ever since Colt was bought out, the quality of their weapons has gone down the crapper.
