    Chelonian only run

Hikazu Hara-Ate is the only drop I need left to be 5/5 Usukane and well, I get the second one in my ls so rather than waiting three years for two to drop, was planning on hiring people at 40-50k/person to go on SSR runs with me a couple times a week. Looking for a strat to do with 4-6 people on what to do on each floor to where we can actually successfully kill Chelonian each time and I'm not throwing out a couple hundred k per run.

Looking for help with both job set ups and strat.

1F: Go east, kill the fomor in your way, target-farm the large room for cells you need.

2F: Go SW, kill for any further cells you need (if any) and then port up.

3F: Go west room, I believe the trigger rampart is always in the same spot on widescan, so scan for it and then kill it in that corner, sleeping gears that aggro or killing them if you don't want to be overwhelmed. Alternatively, if I'm wrong on the widescan thing, sac the whole room, kill the rampart that doesn't move, port up.

4F: Use your preferred 4F method (flee and tag gears, skip gears and pull ramparts to the portal, etc.), kill turtle. Waste 50k because nothing dropped, repeat 220 times.

You could also try making a static of people who want usu head, morrigan legs, and ares legs. Maybe a 5th person who wants alexandrites. Make some rule for your static like "everyone gets their drops or X # of runs passes by before any of us quit the static". Hope that your body drops before X runs passes.

Have already tried something like this and it just didn't work out. Would always be one or two people missing. Only run that had full attendance was the first run. Went on for about a month and a half and killed everything each run except turtle, which wasn't even popped once the entire month and a half period.

do what he said. for timing, its 15 min on 1F, clear GG3 gears ( not necessary all) and warp at 50-55min mark. More and youwont kill CC. ( for 3 a man strategy). for CC floor we pulled 2 Doors at a time with THF saccing.

1F will unlock 4 persons easily if you clear it with 4-5. If needed the fomors in the big room drop fixed cells (might change their name to know hat they drop) but are slightly harder (so don't go straight for them).
On CC floor you need to know where the train is to coordinate pulls. The train takes ~10 min to complete a loop. MNK MNK THF RDM should be cake. MNK THF RDM with good players.

Why not just get your group to go more often? Or just join another Salvage LS that doesn't conflict with your own LS's times? It will probably be less frustrating than trying to convince a group of people to just try to get your one drop and skip other possible drop, because no offense but 50k likely won't convince anyone to burn 1500 AP without some kind of other reward.

And if you are just trying to get turtle, you will have plenty of time to do the NM's anyway if the people you are going with are competent (which I guess isn't insured with a pick-up group that is being paid 50k to do the run).

If you still want to do this, it should be noted that on the second floor only the imps need to be killed to open the doors in the rooms with imps and fomor.

    1) Doesn't change the fact that I would still have to wait for two hara-ates to drop, which you and I both know the chance of even one dropping.
    2) Joining another shell and wanting usu body first is going to have less chances than it dropping twice in a row in the shell I'm in now.
    3) They always fuck up somewhere and since turtle is last, that's the one that always gets screwed over. (especially when it comes to powderkeg)

The JP on my server usually say JP only to these types of things, but yes, I do regularly see them shout for salvage runs, but have also be rejected from each one based ont he fact I can't speak Japanese. I try to explain to them that I've had a lot of experience in salvage and there wouldn't be much explaining needed, but they it doesn't seem to affect their decision.

1F East prolly get all the cells you need for 3-4 people

    2F skip

3F: many ways to do this. clr some gears then rampart(take note of time), scan/flee/train everything away while the rest SP and kill rampart > warp

4F: also many ways, if you have time, you can even kill the 6 roaming gears 3 by 3(tag 3 and kill, then wait for the other 3 return). this needs some time tho. or you can just tag 4 ramparts, peel them off flee-er and bring to start room.

    depends which you like.

Does the widescan trick work rly work on the third floor? If so, which rampart on the list will be the one I need?

If you killed CC in a run meant to kill CC then it isnt a shit run.

Welcome to the club and gl on your drop.

You could probably save a lot of money if you kill Hammerblow and Gyroscopic Gears along the way and let the other members lot on those drops instead of paying them.

Have done it that way before and never make it to turtle this way, not when most of your group has never dealt with salvage before and its difficult just getting them to pass.

This sounds incredibly painful. I don't think I'd have the patience for this. Best of luck to you Vegetto.
