I have nothing against Obama or his supporters. I just don't understand Obamaniacs who think that the world is going to do a 180. I hope he proves me wrong and I'll eat crow happily if he does everything he sets out to do. But I hate all politicians because they are just that... politicians. I have yet to see how Barack is different at all.

But I did like how he's going against Pelosi in wanting to get rid of the new tax cuts. I'm willing to give him a chance, and I hope I'm proven completely wrong, but I view him as just another politician not some savior of the world like a lot of people are viewing him. I just hope he's taken to task as much as Bush was and treated the same when he screws up and I'm seeing that already he can do no wrong in a lot of peoples eyes.

I agree. The other thread about gun hoarding by uber-conservatives is ridiculous. But there is also a group on the other side that treat Barack as the second coming of Jesus. As someone said at the end of the last page (sorry I suck at multi-quoting), give him a chance before dissing him (in my case) or before you begin to build monuments (my uber-emotional liberal friends).

I'm happy that this inauguration is over and we can begin to see him work rather than watch the 2 month inauguration coverage. Good luck Barack, you stepped into a tough situation and I hope you can turn it around.
