The most annoying Yorkie in existence. This was scanned into the computer, by the way. Same with the fish head one from before.

Finally got around to uploading a couple of my shots. Did some minor editing in Photoshop with them, but not much.

Figured I'd revive the thread by posting some pictures of my recent trip to visit some dead people at Woodland Cemetery. The place is filled with interesting sculptures and gravestones. As well as being the final resting place to some famous folks (mostly people of local historical value, but there are others like the Wright Brothers that most would recognize).

I was walking around this place with my friend and we had a few laughs at some of the names we found.
This one was my favorite (no disrespect meant if he was a relative of any of you!) :

why would you cut half the guy out and leave just his feet hanging in at the side?
Crop ruins it
It just did it quickly because I was in a rush. That's a person? Maybe the lighting on my computer is off. Really though, it'd be better without the blue, it's distracting.
yeah. i know what you mean.
i never really thought i was good at photography. i mean, i'm decent, but haven't taken any photo/photoshop classes. it's just a hobby. physics major. guess it goes to show anyone can do this shit. i don't know.

comments would be nice. mostly tell me where i fuck up. haha.
nice pic of dan deacon!
Honestly, just reading over a bit on composition will help tremendously. I taught myself a good deal of the science of photography initially because I didn't think my school would end up offering the class, but then they did. However, I've lacked my own camera since I've taken it. :3
As I'm not a photographer, I know little on camera differences and what features are more prominent than others, but...one of my favorite photographers had a little review section on his Canon 1Ds Mark III and Canon 5D Mark II. Maybe some of you can make something out of it~ Hope it's worthwhile!

Edit: Didn't notice its date, still hope it's useful in some way
Really like the first two, the cellphone one is pretty cool, a bit different. The last one is pretty good too, nice composition. Lack of contrast makes it look more indifferent than it probably should be. But very nice.
Different note: Nikon's new DSLR (D5000) arrives in stores tomorrow around here. It looks like a pretty good camera and the price is actually pretty good for the tech specs (imo). Going to pick that up so I actually have a camera to use. Something new to play around with is always fun; hopefully I don't break it (really, my previous just stopped working randomly, I don't think I did anything)
