I can feel my soul getting eaten! Yeah I hadn't figured out how to lower the radiance on my flash just yet and that was the result. I instantly knew what i wanted to do with it in Photoshop though. I even edited the faces in the paintings behind her, for more subtle creepiness.

I seen the photo in the background, and I thought that you intentionally blew out her face with the flash to match the picture in the background. I guess you did it the other way around though. It's neat.

Forgot to mention that I picked up a Lensbaby Muse yesterday for my wife and she played around a bit with it last night. It is pretty damn fun so far, and she is very excited to experiment much more with it.

If i get around to snagging her Canon I will post some pictures from it. I only wish that I could use it with my camera =( Oh well, I am happy with what I have.

^Nice stuff, I like the b&w one. And stop sign never gets old, hehe.

This color of sky is my absolute favorite one for desktop backgrounds so,...hell I went out and took my own. I liked how the colors and sky came out, but maybe I shouldn't have emphasised the street light too much.

    I dig the reflection.

Do you guys have any good recommendations on camera bags? The one I was using doesn't really work now that I have a couple different lenses and a bigger flash.

I was taking a look at http://www.cambags.com/ but I'm having trouble deciding between something that can hold everything (back packs with place for tripod were interesting) or something more comfortable and light.

Just wanted to add a few things I shot a couple of weeks ago for a good friend of mine. She's a dancer, and wanted some headshots.

This one was for a model who wanted to expand her portfolio.

Last, but not least, a good friend of mine's Mini Cooper.

I bought a Canon 200DG. It was relatively inexpensive and sturdy. Has a tripod strap. Enough room for a Body+lens and 4 extra lenses in the main part. then a few other smaller compartments for lens caps, hoods, CF/SD cards, etc. It's more than sufficient for a nice travel bag that'll hold enough to give you some flexibility. Probably not good for someone planning to travel with a lot of equipment.

What gear will you be toting? They have some neat bags from Crumpler and Think Tank makes some great stuff. Pelican is mainly for those who travel a lot - and I have a pretty cool swing style bag from MRock.

Most of the time I use my Think Tank bag for my professional stuff that I do on a daily basis - you can find that here: http://www.thinktankphoto.com/produc...amera-bag.aspx

the Mrock sling bag I use is here: http://www.m-rock.com/arches-digital-camera-bag.html

I have a Nikon d60, usually with the 18-200mm lens connected.
I have one other lens (that I don't use often but wouldn't be bad to have a home for). I have a top mounted flash (don't remember the brand off the top of my head but it's probably about 8 inches high.
Plus Sun shield, various filters and a generic tripod.

Well, for you I might suggest something that might grow with you as you expand your gear later on - I had a Naneu Pro bag back when I first started, and was very happy with it. It held two DSLRs, about 3 lenses, and 2 flashguns, no problem at all. It also had a nice slot for a laptop as well.

I would second Think Tank. I use the Think Tank belt pack Speed Demon. They make the best bags ever. A little pricey but quality is so high. www.thinktankphoto.com

I have a medium size bag and a backpack. It allows me to go light with a body, grip, big lens, a few pieces of glass and a flash, or pack up for a long trip. I wish I had a backpack that had more room though, my current one fits roughly the same as my bag, but has room for a laptop and food if one wished.

If you like the messenger type bag, Versa makes an almost exact copy of the Crumpler 7MDH and it's around $25 but the site only has red left everything else is sold out, I believe Ebay sellers have them now also but I can't access it from work.

If you want reviews on the bag you can check em out:

Great shots up there, definitely some very professional looking ones that is certain!

As far as bag recs, i second the Crumpler. The wife uses a Crumpler, this one specifically, and loves it. It is very well set up, and the few times i have dragged it around I quite liked it also.

Haven't had as many bags as some others here so definitely check out Think Tank and some of the other recommendations. Personally I am looking as well, but i just need something that holds my compact Leica and the few accessories I might have with me like the Viewfinder/Lens Adapter/Filters etc.

The 10-22mm is a good choice.

Thought my legs looked good in B&W.
