Most of the Industrial, Techno, Electronica that I listen to I find by chance. My friend got me into VNV nation, Das Ich, Apoptygma Berzerk, and Qntal. From there I looked around and found compilations with songs from people I knew and new people. Listening to the new stuff, I got hooked on some other crap and went from there.

Your best bet is to google or use demonoid and just search for "Techno albums" Or "Electronica Collections" and you'll find huge ass 2gig+ rars of just good music.

this weeks TCL and ASoT are siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.. kanya west love lockdown remix is solid... i remember it from tiesto's new years party in nYC i'm glad he finally put it in. and armin's features a REALLY good Going Wrong feat. Chris Jones live version...

I would highly recommend BT's Movement in Still Life and This Binary Universe. The man is a god of trance and the pioneer on Stutter Editing.

After seeing everything that you listen to, it may not be worth posting this, however, most of what I'm going to post is the root of what you're listening to. It's unfortunate that you heard the commercially successful, but lesser talented versions of this music first. Here is a shortlist of essential Techno (mostly Detroit Techno) labels, which I'll follow with a shortlist of essential IDM:

Underground Resistance:

One of the most popular and known UR tracks:

Red Planet (under the UR umbrella) Incidentally, this label was responsible for the first "trance" record, the sound which then exploited the originators :\

Oh, I almost forgot to list Brian Eno in the IDM category, even though it goes without saying. I'm not sure how familiar people are, but he's the "godfather" of IDM.

boards of canada are great, as are a lot of artists from warp records. Squarepusher, aphex twin, chris clark, prefuse 73, all good stuff but a lot of it's pretty weird.

Man, I'm totally going to go through this thread post by post later. Shocking to see so many people into electro, house and drum and bass.

Amentis, if you like Deadmau5, try checking out some of the stuff he did with Melleefresh. Also try tracking down some of the sets from Tommy Lee's Electro Mayhem tour, he was there for quite a few of the stops I believe.

Personal favorite DJ is James Zabiela, but there are several more that I can't get enough of, dudes like James Lavelle (AKA UNKLE), Tiga, Alex Metric, Felix da Housecat.

Ah just remembered another guy I saw in Pemberton last year. Matt the Alien, kinda hard to find his stuff, but really different & damn good. blends a lot of classic rock with modern electronica.
