    Morrigan's Robe vs Genie Weskit

Which would be better on blm?

Same with Zenith Mitts +1 and Morrigan's Cuffs

Morrigan's robe is like HQ4 of igqira weskit damage wise and give refresh.

Next time compare the stats and discard what is equal and then the remaining stats should make it clear.

Nothing beats refresh on a nuking piece.

For meriting and nuking normal NM's, morrigan's robe is all. For things that resist heavily, like Ouryu, Tiamat, etc, use the weskit for its +skill.

Never had zenith+1, but in comparing Morrigan's to nq zenith hands, I would say that 25 less MP is definitely outweighed by the +5 macc.

In other words - It's situational. Try it out and adjust.

not true if kaeko's info is correct. assuming you don't break the threshold where 1 int = 1 macc. based on that, and the figure he presents at 1 skill = 1 macc (or possibly .9, it's not locked down clearly) morg represents +8 macc from the +8 int on it. this is in contrast to the +6 skill from a genie weskit. therefore, based on the figures, morg body should outperform genie even on high resist targets.

as for zenith+1 vs morg, ignoring the mp and hp differences, you're looking at 1 mab vs 5 macc. that's just a judgement call. if you know you're not going to resist anyway, whip out the zenith+1, if you think you might resist, go with the morg. considering how costly zenith+1 are though, i'm perfectly happy to "gimp" along w/ my morg hands. also, if you have a full set (i do) they're required to trip the set bonus on the morg gear.

Morrigan's Robe > Genie Weskit on everything pretty much. I'll have to mention errant/mahatma body on the stronger targets if you need the extra INT; you want as much INT as you can get while having decent ele skill (320-330ish). Otherwise, Morrigan's Robe works just fine really.

Zenith Mitts +1 > Morrigan's Cuffs > Zenith Mitts if not full Morrigan's IMO. Of course, AF(+1) gloves > all for the skill/INT when you need the extra accuracy anyways.

Agreed with this. My mitts never hqed so I settled with the nq, and now Morrigans is much better then Zenith. The magic acc helps of course, but on things that resist my +1 af1 hands get put on first.

yeah. morg hands rather occupy a medium between the highly resistant which you use af+1 and the not resistant which zenith+1 are superior on. trouble is, that's a very narrow band. if you don't have zenith+1 though, morg are a great option, doubly so if you have a full set. also, the comment about refresh on a nuking body is somewhat invalid. refresh gear is for standing, not casting. the fact that they're one in the same makes for a more compact inventory which is nice, though.

also, morg hands are great for debuffing if master casters are off or not available to you.

Unless you're doing an epeen contest on pudding, Morrigan's hands are better almost everywhere.

It's so easy to put +ele skill and int in other spots (merciful cape, nashira feet, af+1 hands, af2 hat), if you have a morrigan's robe there should never be a need for errant/mah body outside of HMP and stoneskin.

I use Wizard's Coat +1 for resting and will use Morrigan's Robe for Stoneskin just to save space once I get it. It's easy enough to cap it anyway.

My point was I easily reach the required skill range with AF2 hat, elemental torque, and AF(+1) gloves (even moreso when I nuke with ice, 324-334 skill). No, I don't have a Morrigan's Robe, so I ended up using my mahatma body on the harder stuff. It's only 3 more INT anyways in comparison. I'd probably prefer Morrigan's anyway.

Merciful Cape is a dark magic piece to me, and I only really use nashira feet for the haste on Stun.

was just pointing out options, and yeah, i'm with you, merc cape is almost solely a dark magic piece (sometimes i'll keep it on instead of prism at events just as a kind of safety thing though). Also, my nashira feet only come out for my smn now too (yigit feet ftw).

If you are under the target's INT+10 and seriously need accuracy, mahatma houppelande is the way to go. If you are above the target's INT+10 and get lot's of resists then Shadow/valkyrie coat is what you need.

In all others situation (=90% f the time ?) ~ Morigan' robe. If you're lazy you can still get rid of errant body and keep morrigan's. 2 INT is nothing.

Had this discussion on another forum recently. Morrigan's > all for everything. It's like the swiss army knife of BLM body pieces.

Not better than Wizard's Coat +1 for Enfeebling and resting. Nor is it better than Nashira Manteel for Dark Magic.

No really, "it's so easy to" followed with af2 hat...not quite available to everyone. Getting there thanks to the boosted drop rate but still a lot of long waiting lists in a lot of shells.
