The mystery of the suddenly-disappearing-company-destroying file.
I don't think I will be able to retrieve this file as I've tried in every way and none have worked. On a separate partition on my HD I had a 1GB truecrypt file with all of my website and client information for the local freelancing work I do. As of today, that folder, along with the truecrypt file inside, has disappeared.
This is of much problem, but I think for the majority of (excluding phone numbers and addresses) information I can get back from another source, however, I can't have this happening again. Any idea what caused this?

Tried an undelete utility or anything to see if it's still around in some way? Only time I can recall files just "disappearing" it was within ZIP files, using Windows to just drag n' drop more files into the ZIP.

It wasn't a hidden truecrypt drive? Meaning that you have to know the drive letter and a password to even see the fact that your 1 GB file even existed? If not, is it possible to switch the truecrypt method of an already established file? I've only worked briefly with the program, but those are the first things that come to mind. Not much help, I know.
